Our quietly located luxury chalet is on the edge of the forest in a small-scale holiday park, close to the village of Stadl an der Mur. The chalet is beautifully situated on a mountain slope, giving you a beautiful view over the mountains and the valley, with the village of Stadl in the distance. The living area of the chalet is 115m2, with a spacious and sunny terrace all around. In the immediate vicinity are the beautiful and cozy ski areas of Kreischberg, Katschberg and Turracher Höhe.

Our ski chalet is close to The Austrian Alps which means we are near several major ski resorts the nearest being the kreischberg ski resort, just a 7 minute drive away. The chalet is clean and modern and has everything you would need for a self catering holiday with the luxury of a family sauna. The chalet is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Please note there are extra charges for cleaning to be paid locally, see house rules below.

Chalet Fernweh is a well-equipped house of 85m² with a sauna in a little, quiet holiday park on the mountainside. It sleeps up to 6 adults in 3 bedrooms. In winter, you can explore the slopes in Kreischberg, Turracher Höhe, and Obertauern, or go sledding, or snowshoe hiking, ... Maybe you prefer the summer season for walking, cycling, swimming, ... The Red Bull Ring is not too far and you can do a city trip to Salsburg, Villach, or Klagenfurt.

Architecture and alpine lifestyle - you are vacationing in the chalet on 190m². Three spacious bedrooms with a double bed and a sofa bed, each of which can be separated by a sliding door and can therefore accommodate two to four people. The chalet also has its own sauna and for skiers, a ski room with heatable boot dryer. Enjoy cozy fireplaces in the living room and a view of the beautiful mountain scenery from every room of the house.
