The boathouse is such a beautiful location. We had most perfect, relaxing, unplugged weekend (swam, kayaked, read, napped, forest bathed, star gazed and soaked in the fresh sea air). We were the only guests on the property so it was very peaceful and private and only an hour from Halifax. Hosts were super accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at one of the most beautiful and peaceful Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at. Suzanne and Sheryl were both such incredible hosts and welcomed us so warmly to their place which was the perfect destination for our first time traveling to Nova Scotia. The atmosphere was extraordinary with breathtaking views of the ocean which was the perfect sight to wake up to each morning. The cottage was stunning and cozy from the inside and out which had everything we could’ve possibly needed for our entire trip. We can’t thank you enough for allowing us to stay here and we highly recommend this spot to anyone else looking for a relaxing getaway!

I can't say enough about this place! It was VERY peaceful and private with a gorgeous sand beach right at the doorstep. We wondered why it was called 'Seal Rock House' until we woke up one morning and saw the seals!!! We spent hours watching them and it was a highlight of our tour around the province. The house was spotless, had comfy beds, and we loved the design. We felt at home. Christoph was an amazing host. He was very friendly and left great info about the surrounding area, plus some menus we ordered from quite frequently! An incredible place to stay and an extremely reasonable price! Very highly recommended!!!!!
