Beachfront holiday rentals in Tankerton

A lovely cottage, we have enjoyed our stay very much. There are lots of nice touches in a good thought for the comfort of guests. Warm house in every room by the time of our arrival; milk, juice, home made jam (delicious!), bread, cereals avalible; little messages that welcome and guide through the house. There are actually 3 bathrooms. All is spotless clean and fresh. We wish to return :)

The place was pristine, beautiful home. right on the beachfront, offstreet parking oppersite the house. Sums it up, couldn't ask for more. The host was also proactive with clear instructions ahead of time and responsive when messaged. would recommend to anyone visiting Southend-on-Sea.

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

Cute little flat, super close to the train station and beach. We had a lovely stay here!

The property matched the description perfectly, place in a very peaceful road in the heart of historic Deal, plenty to walk and explore such a beautiful old neighbourhood. The property had everything covered from dog treats to USB charges, it was a home away from home. Such a historic old quirky building as long as you’re not tall, you’ll be fine! Thank you

Such a great place! We stayed for the weekend and had the best time, lovely house with everything you need as well as being and nice and clean. Brilliant location too we felt we were super close to everything! Ida and James were super attentive, fab hosts as well!

We have never been to Herne Bay . As it such fine weather ,and rather than me paying silly prices for a hotel in London, we found this gem . It very near the beach and the facilities Herne Bay had to offer were fantastic , both busy and quiet and great notices of local facts eg Amy Johnson. Also easy walk from railway station. Followed up the hosts recommendation of local facilities and saw fabulous sunset from the pub . The host answered very quickly the one query we had . Would recommend for even singles, as it felt a safe area , as well as couples with or without children, or in our case a doggy . All facilities for him also .

Lovely little place, very cute. Nice to have dishwasher tablets and cleaning stuff provided as well as teabags and milk.

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We had a wonderful stay at Gills caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. ( we like cooking) The rooms were very comfy and the outside space was a plus in the sunshine. Gill was extremely helpful and friendly and the area was very dog friendly with loads of lovely walks straight from the site. It was our first time In The area and we will definitely be back. Perfect little getaway for myself and the family, very nicely kept and was exactly as described. This is the second time we have stayed and it was perfect again, would recommend

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

First time hiring a hut and I’m so glad I did. This little hut was cute and had everything you needed. I messaged Maria asking for a little something for my mum’s bday and she did 😊. No bad reviews we’re planning on hiring more often, all it could do with is a little tlc ie painting needs updating, the windbreakers need replacing and possibly something for the ground by the doors as it’s hard to open the doors with the stones. But other then that it was lovely and we had such a lovely time , we locked everything up in the hut and took a walk to the pier and came back it was lovely thank you ☺️

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

Exactly what it says on the tin, as they say. Friendly people, a nice little grass dog walking area next to a nature reserve. Pub opposite served lovely food as does the clubhouse I’m sure, although we didn’t get to eat there it served a lovely Guinness and provided great entertainment from bingo to cabaret. All in all very happy and hope to go book even just for a mini weekend break. Sandra and her hubby, nice people and very helpful, thank you both. Mark & Michelle

Had a lovely mini break away at Kimberley’s place. Felt right at home straight away and the location was perfect for seaside walks, popping to the near seaside towns and watching the beautiful sunsets this area of the North Kent coast is famous for. The home was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, the beds were really comfortable and I loved the little touch of leaving some bread, butter & milk, snacks and a hot drinks station. Loved it so much that we’ve already booked to go back again in the Summer so I think that says it all! Thankyou Kimberley, you were the perfect host! 😊

Spent a wonderful weekend here- the apartment is beautiful, very tasteful and stylish with everything you need. Easy to park and walking distance to everything Margate has to offer. Will definitely stay again!

We spent 5 nights at Debra’s beautiful home in Tankerton over my daughter’s half term holiday. It was exactly what we needed - a home away from home. The perfect space for her to study and relax together, while allowing me to catch up with friends and explore Tankerton, Whitstable and all the lovely restaurants and shops. Thank you so much Debra, I hope we’ll be back.

We had a great time in Deborah’s apartment in Deal. The house was everything the photos showed and more. Very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was fab. Would have no hesitation in rebooking or recommending this property. Thanks Deb’s

Beautifully decorated and really well stocked. So many thoughtful touches from breakfast things to ear plugs! Lovely location a short walk from the beach. Would love to stay again! Debi was friendly and responsive to messages. Cannot rave about this enough!

We stayed at Liz and Barry’s air B and B for two nights as we wanted to get away from our usual hustle and bustle! The place is amazing and the view out to sea is unbelievable. The photos don’t do it justice! The place is all on one level and my toddler loved playing on the enclosed balcony. It was a very safe place to stay and we very quickly felt at home. Amazing last minute stay! Amenities and extras were brilliant, had everything we needed and more. As for the flat itself, it was very spacious, homely and so much natural light. The views were the selling point and they didn’t disappoint! Nikki was a great host, responded fast and would do anything to make the stay special. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect location a stone throw from the shore, near Neptune Pub (right on beach) and Wheelers Restaurant on the high street. Interesting independent shops, quirky coffee shops and pubs tucked in back streets. Wonderful beer garden and restaurants. A lovely get away just an hour away for me.
