Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tarrazu

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we didn't know what to expect. It's hard to get a full scope of a place with just photographs. From the moment we walked in the door, I knew we picked the right place. Someone else mentioned that the photos don't do this place justice, and they were spot on. It's airy yet cozy, tranquil but enough space to spread out and have a good time. The location was far enough away from Quepos to give it a country feel but still be able to quickly pick something up for dinner. My only criticism is that the kitchen was not as equipped as I like (we had to get creative with the can opener and the knives were pretty dull) but we managed. I highly recommend Villa Vanilla- it's a biodynamic organic farm 10 minutes away if you are interested in spices or chocolate, they also have ice cream and spice tours. The Magic Bus was our favorite food spot near Manuel Antonio. Rancho Tipico don Juan horseback riding tour was THE Highlight of our trip.

No complaints at all about this place! It was a hidden gem and well worth the price. The location was good for us - quiet, in a smaller neighborhood, a very peaceful retreat. It was off the beaten path, so would not be for people who want to see or hear the ocean. However, it was SUPER clean, the beds were comfy, A/C worked great, the parking was easy and secure. The gardens were immaculate and offered a jungle feel which we all loved. It is a 3-minute drive from MaxiPali for groceries, etc. and a few more minutes to Quepos.

Desde la primera comunicación hasta la salida, todo reúne un excelente. Casa preciosa, super equipada y limpia. Nos encantó, esperamos volver.

Fui muy acogedora y especialmente un lugar para descansar nos sentimos como en casa y todo estaba súper ordenado y pensado en el más mínimo detalle, la cocina súper equipada y la piscina perfecta

Cozy house and has an open plan, so its very open (which i loved) A lot of closet space available in 2 of the rooms. lovely backyard. Has an outside grill which was very nice. Ample bathroom with hot water. The host was very friendly and made our stay amazing. Ample parking. Right next to a lil family fast food joint with a lot of options as well as a little market. Keep in mind, this is on a main road, so there is some noise early morning, but it's manageable. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nos hospedamos en la casa de Doug por una noche 4 familias, con 4 niños, la zona es de las más lindas de Costa Rica, tiene una vista espectacular y si te gusta el gusta el clima frío es el lugar ideal para unas vacaciones fuera de la ciudad pero bastante cerca. La cabaña super acogedora, equipada con todo lo que necesitábamos para las necesidades de todas las familias, Doug super atento desde el primer momento. La pasamos realmente bien - la recomendaríamos y regresaremos sin duda. Nos encantó!

Claudia’s house was a perfect little place to stay for 6 weeks. Large fenced in yard for the dogs to play and a Coconut and lime tree in the yard. The market was 75 meters away which was very nice. Everyone in the neighborhood was super friendly and helpful. One of my favorites things was the 4-6 Macaws that came by daily across the street. And the Sunday futbol matches in town.

Un lugar muy bonito , cómodo vista y excelente atención

Mis amigos y yo visitamos la casa de Karla, desde el momento de la reserva Karla fue sumamente atenta nos colaboró en las inquietudes que teníamos, la cocina es hermosa y tiene todo lo necesario como en casa. La zona es muy tranquila y hay supermercados cerca. La casa tiene mucho espacio y las camas son cómodas ideal para grupos grandes, hay juegos de mesa, rancho, parilla, todo lo necesario la recomiendo 100% y definitivamente es un lugar al que volvería.

El apartamento es amplio y confortable, buen aire acondicionado, las camas muy cómodas. Rodeado de mucha naturaleza. La piscina estuvo muy bien para compartir en familia. El joven de seguridad muy amable y nos dió buenas indicaciones cuando llegamos sobre la propiedad. Excelente estadía, volveríamos!

La verdad no me arrepiento para nada haberme alojado en este hermoso y pacífico lugar, está un entorno maravilloso en medio de zonas cafetaleras. La vista desde la habitación hermosísima, la cual disfrutamos tanto de día como de noche, el vecindario y todas las personas de los lugares cercanos sumamente amigables y confiables. Nos movimos caminado al centro de San Marcos donde descansamos en un esplendoroso parque y disfrutamos de las estructuras antiguas de la escuela, así como de la bella edificación del templo, al igual que todo, inmerso en esos paisajes y exuberante vegetación. En pocos minutos nos movimos a Santa María de Dota y a San Pablo de León Cortés, ya que este hospedaje queda prácticamente en medio de ambos lugares. José es un excelente anfitrión, pero además estuvieron pendientes de nuestra comodidad sus padres: don Marvin y doña Emilia, todos personas super especiales. El internet super bien. Por supuesto que recomiendo 100 % este magnífico lugar

Me gustó mucho el lugar, igual como sale en las fotos, cocina equipada, camas cómodas, baño súper limpio, barrio tranquilo y seguro, se puede caminar sin temor , lugar céntrico, tamaño perfecto de TV, lo único que me preocupaba era el tema del parqueo pero Alex me indicó que no había problema en dejarlo afuera, así fue, pasamos 3 noches sin problema. Muy agradecida.

Pronto van a tener una piscina

Io mio marito e mio figlio di 4 anni abbiamo soggiornato nella Casita 8 notti per il nostro viaggio di nozze …. Siamo appena rientrati e già c manca perché e’ stato più di come essere a casa . Il posto meraviglioso immerso nella giungla ma super comodo per visitare tutto … la casita bellissima super pulita moderna .. la piscina l area barbecue tutto perfetto . E poi Susan la proprietaria che ormai dopo 8 giorni è anche un’ amica…dolce disponibile e che ha reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile ❤️

We felt completely at home at Carmen's accommodation. The small house is located on a large property, with plenty of space to the other houses, so you have complete privacy. The view from the terrace is unbeatable – you can see mountains, and a cow pasture runs directly around the terrace (and if you're lucky, the cows might even graze right next to the house). We also saw many toucans and parrots. Communication with Carmen was flawless. If we travel to Costa Rica again, we would definitely stay at this accommodation again.

Isaac fue muy amable, rápido para responder y para ayudarnos con nuestras preguntas. El lugar está impecable y las amenidades son exactamente las descritas, el ambiente es muy tranquilo y la vista es muy linda con mucha naturaleza, totalmente vale la pena! :)

Nuestra estadía con Marcos y Yesi fue fantastica. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa en todo momento, siempre fueron muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar en cualquier cosa que necesitaramos. El departamento es amplio y cómodo para unas 4 personas, tiene de todo lo necesario para una estancia de unos días. La ubicación es muy cómoda, cerca a playa como Espadilla y también al Parque nacional Manuel Antonio. Lo recomiendo 100%

Nuestra estadía estuvo muy bien, apesar de que fue solamente una noche, fue sencillo entrar al condominio y también entrar al departamento Agradecemos a Warren por las instrucciones claras que nos brindó Saludos

This was a great place to stay, very comfortable our favorite part was the porch and the full kitchen! There is a restaurant next door but they close up early and even when they're open you can't really hear them if you’re inside. There’s a washerdryer in unit which if you’re bouncing around the country, as we did, this was a great luxury to end out your trip. The Concierge, Jordan, was a great help! He met us at the parking lot and showed us how to get into the gate and showed us around the unit and was very responsive. There’s great restaurant, beach, shop, and live music options within walking distance. We did have a problem on the morning we left, there was no water. It was bad timing because we couldn’t clean up the way we would have if we had running water. I texted early in the morning about it and got a responds immediately that unfortunately it just happens sometimes, but we were fine. Thank you, John, for a comfortable stay we enjoyed it so much!

Merci William pour ce très bel appartement qui a répondu parfaitement à nos attentes. Le logement est propre, spacieux et la cuisine bien équipée. La petite terrasse est très agréable. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la piscine.
