Opened in August 2020, Onomachi Yard is a one-group-per-day inn located in a renovated 120-year-old white-walled storehouse in the heart of Hida Furukawa. For those who want to enjoy Hida leisurely, for those who want to spend a quiet time, as well as those who want to stretch their legs a little further to Hida Takayama, the World Heritage Shirakawa-go, Okuhida Onsen, Shinhotaka Ropeway, Kanoka-cho, where the world's largest underground neutrino observatory Super Kamiokande is located, and the activity "Gattango!!" that combines cycling and the abandoned railway.etc., please enjoy your favorite style based on Onomachi Yard. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.
