This is a convenient mountain villa located 10 minutes from the Chuo Expressway interchange. However, there are no stations or shops within walking distance, so please be sure to come by car. We recommend coming by your own car or by rental car from Chino Station. In winter, please come with a 4WD vehicle and winter tires. During the cold season, the living room, dining room, kitchen, sun room, and bathroom are equipped with underfloor heating, so you can stay comfortably. You can chop wood yourself and enjoy the wood-burning stove. In the warmer seasons, you can also enjoy a BBQ on the large wooden deck in front of the sun room. There are two large supermarkets within a 10-minute drive, making it easy to get groceries. Including the chic two-bedroom area and the loft above the living room, the house can accommodate up to 6 people. We welcome long stays of 5 nights or more. Our house is available for rent as an entire house, limited to one group per day, without meals.It takes a little while to get here, and there are no supermarkets or convenience stores in the area, but that's why I think this place has a quietness and a casual, simple beauty to everyday life.It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in the old houses nestled between the mountains and valleys, so in the warmer seasons, wildlife may enter.The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail.We are preparing to welcome you as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
