Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Tay Valley

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

We really enjoyed our girls' getaway at Dillon's place. It's an easy walk to Main Street from the home, which is well-equipped and comfortable. Dillon was very communicative and was quick to answer the few questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay there within a months timeframe, this is how much we love this place! So beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. We just can’t say enough about this place and the host who is absolutely amazing to deal with. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next stay.

Perfect Spot for a Girls’ Getaway! Four of us girlfriends stayed here for a weekend and had the most wonderful time! The space was bright, spacious, and beautifully decorated—exactly like the photos. We loved hanging out in the cozy living area, sipping coffee on the balcony with lake views, and having our own comfortable rooms to unwind. The location was ideal—peaceful, yet close cute local cafes and shops in the neighborhood. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and felt super safe and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend for a girls’ trip or a relaxing escape from Toronto!

If anyone is looking for the perfect getaway spot with family and friends, this lovely river retreat has it all!! Gorgeous property, loads of space for guests to gather together or all have their own little small magical experiences. This home has everything that could be asked for. Location was easy to find and access, yet felt fully private and removed from the rest of the world. This place is set up for entertaining and relaxing, I was impressed from the moment we opened the door. The house is spacious, airy, and incredibly comfortable. Everyone felt right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, whatever you can think of was there, and the bedding and furniture were so fresh and comfortable. Extras everywhere! Our hostess Julie was amazing to communicate with. From our very detailed access instructions, to responding quickly to any questions, she made this weekend a phenomenal one. Julie has created a riverside oasis for any group big or small, and we would happily come back!

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

The house is close to everything and was easy to access. Extremely clean and it had everything we needed and then some. John is a great host and kept in touch to make sure we arrived safely. It is a great place to stay at if you ever go to Kingston.

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

Mercy’s place has a very cozy feel. The house feels worn in, in a nice way. You can tell people have lived in it for probably decades. Lots of privacy and beautiful nature engulfing the house. 5min drive to all amenities you could think of. For any music creatives out there, the basement is literally perfect for recording music. If you’re a light sleeper, one thing to note is the house is located next to a more Main Street with frequent cars and buses. The house also had no air conditioning that we were aware of, so for anyone that struggles with heat, it will feel quite warm during hot weather. For us these were merely trivialities; we loved our stay :)

Staying at Jean-Paul's place was absolutely awesome. The place and the surroundings are simply great. As a host, I would rate them extraordinary- very friendly, cordial and of course, charlie ( little 🐶) was like an amazing surprise. Liked the place and would recommend my friends to stay here if you are around Ottawa. I hope to meet you again. Thank you so much.

Very spacious comfortable accommodation. No easy place to go for a walk other than the main road, and driving required for food and drink.

I had a fantastic stay at Scott's Airbnb! He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we had an issue with the pool lights in the evening, Scott promptly came over to assist, which we greatly appreciated. His communication and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying with Scott and would definitely book again!

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! My husband and I and our dog spent two nights on Lov Island and had a fantastic time! The lake was beautiful, and we enjoyed some great fishing. It was also very peaceful. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax!

We really enjoyed our stay. Place was very clean and exactly as described. Perfect for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. Loved using the BBQ and Sauna and enjoying the sun by the river sounds.

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

We had the best time staying at Alexandra’s. This location is beautiful, and there is so much wildlife to see. We took the kayaks out every day and enjoyed how serene the lake was. This was such a memorable trip for us and truly recommend Alexandra as a host for your next cottage stay.

Great place to stay for a getaway! Hot tub was lovely and got use of the kayaks. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed and lots of dishware. Don't forget your dishwasher pods/laundry soap and your own spices if you're cooking.

We came to the lovely town of Perth for a wedding and stayed at Randa’s quaint air bnb. It was very clean, she was incredibly kind and helpful. The location is literally perfect for everything in town (walking distance). Would definitely recommend!!

Staying in this bunkie was such a treat that we went back again! The location feels secluded and peaceful, and the bunkie itself is perfectly cozy. I loved being able to easily enjoy nature and wildlife. Jenna is a fantastic host – super friendly and always on top of things. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be more thankful to Sean for opening up this gorgeous cabin/house for us on the most amazing river. The house is immaculate, trust me I'm an airforce brat! The Sofa and chairs invited you ti relax as long as you want in deep comfort, and the lovely extra blankets and cushions are just wonderful. At night, the firepit and the comfy chairs kept us all smiling. The screened tent is fantastic for sitting right beside the river. The stones at the water's edge are flat and smooth mostly, great for getting your feet wet. And the best part of all, the wonderful sound of the river, which you can hear from the front door. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wildlife. Ducks, Robin's, yellow finches, hummingbirds, and more. The chipmunks are adorable as well. MY friends and I were sincerely impressed and had an amazing stay.
