Absolutely rustic and beautiful in every way. Off the beaten path but perfect for the views, quiet, and seclusion. We will never for get this stay and all of the valleys we explored while we were there.

The little house is a five star property with clean and comfortable furniture, amazing garden and breath taking lake views. We had all the amenities we needed for the entire stay and kathi have been very helpful. If you book this property, prepare to have an amazing private space but prepare to walk down some stairs to reach the little house.

The apartment is very traditional in an old stone house, located in the beautiful Verzasca Valley. The location is the ideal vantage point to explore the valley with its beautiful nature, but also Locarno and Ascona. Please note: the place is on a reservoir, you can't swim there! There are also no supermarkets, bakeries, etc. in the valley, so it is best to do your shopping in advance. The apartment itself is very clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the location very quiet. We were there as a family with 2 children and felt very comfortable. (There are steep stairs in the house, not suitable for very small children). Overall highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is 100% clean, the air conditioning was also pleasant. We were even allowed to use the whole garden overlooking the lake.

The accommodation was very good for a long weekend, can also be suitable for a week to 10 days. Very quiet location close to nature and a pretty village. No contact on site with the host but the instructions were very clear and no worries.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

great rustico in avegno - beautiful garden and super well equipped! there are several nice grottos in walking distance, and the maggia valley is so beautiful to explore. can really recommend to stay with ulrike!

We are delighted with our stay in Prémeno, which is a very pleasant village. The accommodation was consistent with the photos and we were able to enjoy the balcony. We sympathized with Donatella, she is an available and very warm person that we really enjoyed. We highly recommend this cottage.

Very pleasant place where we felt "at home". The proximity to Ascona and the calm were very appreciated. You just need to know that the stairs to go up to the bedroom are quite high, if you have mobility problems. But that didn't bother us any more. It was an excellent training for our walks ☺️ We were able to walk to the friendly Grotto Ticinese as well as 2 nearby walks. In the end, an excellent place that we will recommend. This was an exemplary Air BNB. Elena made sure we had everything, went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The apartment was super well equipped and we were able to grill on the bar-b-q, lay out on the patio and have a wonderful time. Absolutely amazing place, host and location. On our top 3 best Air BNB’s that we have ever stayed at! Would totally recommend to everyone

Fantastic location with a wonderful view over the lake. In the middle of the old village in a cute old house. Nearby is a nice bar and a very good restaurant. The apartment is simple, the kitchen very small, but everything you need is there. Highly recommended!!!

My stay in Ascona was all about my daughter's wedding, a special occasion that I was able to spend in an equally special accommodation. I originally booked four nights, but I was able to extend it by two nights easily and at an early stage. The welcome was very warm and despite the heavy rainfall in the first few days, I felt completely at ease. It is tastefully furnished, very well equipped, extremely clean and well maintained - you can tell that attention to detail is paid here. Unfortunately, the pretty seating area in the garden could hardly be used due to the weather, but the view of a beautiful olive tree and the well-kept garden contributed a lot to the pleasant atmosphere. The location is ideal: In a few steps you are in the old town, you can stroll comfortably, enjoy aperitifs, eat well or take excursions by boat or bus - simply perfect! Wonderful - I'd love to come back :-)!

Beautiful apartment above Locarno. Very good and fast to reach also by public transport. The communication and check-in was straightforward and fast. We were warmly welcomed with wine from Ticino and cold water in the refrigerator. The apartment was cozy and very well equipped as well as clean. Perfect size for 2 people. The view from the terrace was incredible! We can definitely recommend the accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of four with a newborn in this charming attic apartment. Located on the third floor of a rustic chalet, the space was cozy, and the view overlooking the river was absolutely breathtaking—easily one of the highlights of our stay. The apartment was well-appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed (and more). The espresso coffee machine—such a thoughtful touch! Convenient private parking made coming and going stress-free. since the apartment is on the third floor and accessed via stairs, packing light is a good idea—but the climb is well worth it for the view and the cozy atmosphere. Though the stairwell is technically shared with the owner who lives on the lower floors, it never felt like a shared space. We had full privacy throughout our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable retreat in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with modern comforts at hand.

We felt at home with Sonja from the first reception. We lacked nothing in the apartment. It is fully equipped for physically disabled guests, including sewing kits and small board games. We felt a family atmosphere throughout the premises, with toys and equipment for children. Sonja was always obliging and helpful to us. A stay that we already count among our most beautiful holiday accommodations and can recommend without reservation.

We spent 4 nights in an absolutely ideal place to rest. The setting is very quiet, with a magnificent view of the lake, perfect for disconnecting. We had an accommodation with an outdoor kitchen, which was really nice to fully enjoy the environment. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The place is also perfectly suited for a stay with a small child: there is a sandbox, a swing, some toys on site, a high chair, a baby bed... even board games for family evenings. The owners are lovely, with lots of little touches that make the difference: on our arrival, fresh fruits, yogurts, beers... And for those who like their peace, don't worry, we hardly saw them The only small point of improvement in my opinion would be the addition of a small pool, it would really be the icing on the cake. But otherwise, everything was great, a real little corner of paradise

The apartment offered by Andja is large and comfortable. Beautiful kitchen, living room with large TV. Large quiet bedroom. Two balconies. Andja and her son are lovely hosts. Excellent pizzeria 2 minutes' walk and excellent ice cream shop 3 minutes' walk. The neighborhood is lovely.

The place was beautiful, unique, on Lake Como with direct access to the lake. I think it’s the perfect place to relax, sunbath and enjoy the lake. Beautiful table to eat outside. It was also super clean ! We knew there would be stairs, it might have been a little bit more than we expected (80)! But the owner was really nice and offered to help us as I do not travel light ! Highly recommend renting a small car/Vespa as public transport are not reliable and the only Ubers available are the black uber which are more expensive. We had a série 4 bmw to give you an idea, I would say that if your car is much wider than that it will be a little tight to go down the driveway, but doable. The parking itself is huge. There is a portable A/C, we went in June and didn’t need it as the breeze from the lake was enough to keep us cool at night. Owner was also nice enough to let us do part of our wedding photoshoot at her beautiful Villa ! Unique experience, we really loved it !

had a great one night stay so we could explore como after a stay in milan, it was a 20 ish minute walk to the lake and the apartment itself was tastefully decorated - we felt right at home immediately!
