Tickles Cottage was built in 1850 by the cornish miners and is adjacent to Peppertree Cottage in a beautiful Rural Setting. Cottages can be booked together or separately. Only 2 kms south of the historical township of Mintaro in the beautiful Clare Valley .Walking distance to Martindale Hall and Mintaro Maze. Mintaro has the best country pub for lunches or dinners. Historical Burra is only a half an hour to the mining town. Clare Valley has excellent wineries and the Reisling trail to explore

Burra Hills

Located in a beautiful and lush garden with stunning views over Burra's golden hills, this is where you relax in a calm and stylish atmosphere. Our one bedroom accommodation sleeps a maximum of two people, has a well equipped kitchenette, a lounge/dining area, TV, Wi-Fi and AC. On the verandah, you can enjoy a glas of wine. A five minutes stroll down treelined streets takes you to Burra's main street, with its country pubs, inviting cafes, historic buildings, shops and the vistor center.

The Manse

The Manse built in 1857, an elegant country house, recently renovated and located in Auburn in the Clare Valley, is a perfect getaway for couples or a family. Situated 1. 5 hours from Adelaide, Auburn is a perfect base to explore the Clare Valley, Burra or a perfect stopover enroute to the Flinders Ranges. Copper Mine Cottage

Copper Mine Cottage will be featured on Inside Selling Houses Australia New Beginnings as a follow up to the make over of my Church property in Ellalong, NSW. (Selling Houses Australia Season 16 episode 1). Built between 1846 and 1847 by the SA Mining Association and designed by G.S Kingston. The ‘Thames Street Cottages’ are some of the first buildings to be built in Burra, and are a fine example of some of the earliest residential buildings that still remains in South Australia.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

The Garden Cottage

This historic cottage is in the centre of the quiet but vibrant town of Auburn. Set back from the road under a shady loquat tree, guests will enjoy a characterful and pretty space of their own. The bedroom has a comfortable solid timber bed with lovely bedlinen, a desk/chairs, wardrobe, portable heater and evaporative air conditioner. The kitchenette has a small fridge with freezer, a stove and ample cupboard space with crockery, French coffee press and cooking essentials.
