Holiday rentals with a kayak in Thiérache

This was our second stay at the property and it was a perfect location for our cycling holiday. The property is perfect for a cycling family, as there is plenty of secure storage for your bikes. The down stairs is completely open plan and very homely, perfect after a long hard cycle over the cobbles. A bonus is the shower is by the far the best! The town is only 5 minutes walk away with plenty of places to eat and drink. There are also plenty of local supermarkets, if you want to cook meals in. We would highly recommend this property as somewhere to stay, especially for cyclists. We plan to return again.

It was as if we were arriving at a small oasis in the middle of our agitated world. The house was even more beautiful than described and we were struck by the cleanliness of the place. In principle, it is not even necessary to leave the estate, as everything is planned to keep you entertained. The neighborhood and Ardre around the lake were also very idyllic to visit (everything is within walking distance). Véronique is a fantastic host, involved in your vacation weeks ahead. She had decorated the house with birthday garlands for our 60s, and prepared a fresh quiche as well as cookies. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a lovely stay. What an environment! So peaceful and green:) The birds sing, the rabbits run in the meadow and the donkey Marty comes to say hello… what a change of scenery! The accommodation is very well equipped. Cleanliness is impeccable, in short, a flawless one! We'll be happy to go back! The city of Amiens is close by: 25 minutes by car, Le Crotoy beach 45 minutes. So you can either go on a city trip in the beautiful city of Amiens, or a trip to the beach or enjoy the exceptional setting of the property! The sun loungers on the terrace, table, umbrella and barbecue allow for beautiful moments outdoors:) The pond behind the garden gives us the opportunity to enjoy in privacy. Very few walks, even fewer cars, this place is the perfect place to disconnect and rest! The furnishings are very qualitative, the renovation of the building is very successful. Thank you for these moments ❤️

A great cottage very well appointed, nicely decorated, in a superb setting. And thank you to François for his excellent welcome, kindness, availability, and walking tips. We stayed one night at the cottage and we already want to go back as soon as we can:) That was great!

Very nice house, pleasant and bright, the XXL TV is a plus. The park along the lake from the back of the house is really nice and very well maintained Impeccable fishing return👌. I would recommend this rental. We'll come back to that again. Angela and Philippe

Heaven. What an amazing place to stay - lovely house, short walk from beautiful Montreuil if you can drag yourself away from the incredible garden! Absolutely gorgeous pool, pétanque, ping pong, table football and a garden the size of a field - the kids never wanted to leave. Guillaume’s parents welcomed us and were just truly lovely people, we really enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and apples from the garden. Thank you so much to Guillaume and his family for the most wonderful break.

Come to participate in the orchid exhibition at the Abbey of Vaucelles. The space is true to the photos and nicely furnished. Catherine is very kind. We had a lovely stay. The place is quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay with a group of friends! Lovely space outside and the house had everything we needed. We would book it again for our group!

If you just want to relax, this lodge with a small lake is perfect for this! The lodge is super sweetly decorated and everything you need is on site. The Nordic bath was our highlight next to the raft! Here you can definitely unwind! We will be happy to come back.

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage is cozy and nicely decorated, making us feel right at home. With two adults and a baby, it was the perfect place to enjoy a carefree time. Everything we needed was there, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Rob is an incredibly friendly and helpful host, always easily accessible and willing to help. This cottage is undoubtedly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and cozy stay!

Simple accommodation, with the essentials and above all nature nearby with beautiful walks to do on the banks of the Marne or in the forest. Very nice welcome!

An enchanted interlude in the middle of unspoiled nature, bathed by the presence of water (memorable boat ride, made available to us) and rocked by the song of (very many) birds... we felt like we were in the house of the tale Goldilocks and the 3 bears, a charming hut drowned in flowers. All a few hundred meters from the urban center... incredible! We'll be back of course!

Allowed to stay at this location for the long weekend. We know the cottages in this park from previous visits, but this cottage is really our preference! Very well thought out about the decor and using the space available in a good way. The bathroom is wonderfully spacious and the separate toilet room is also very pleasant. The placement of the kitchen also makes you have a lovely spacious kitchen where you can easily and very pleasantly work with connection to the nice seating area of the house. All this makes it a particularly pleasant cozy cottage and thus also makes it a very pleasant stay. Reason enough to come back here again if this matches our agendas and availability. Afterwards, I can only rate it as very positive.

An absolutely magical little piece of paradise on earth. Surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Hortillonages with the sound of water, wind in the trees and birdsong. The house is cosy and charming, the lush garden with apple trees, rose bushes and berries incredibly well taken care of. And the historic centre of Amiens is only a short walk away. On top of that, Anne is a great host who took care of every little detail. Communication was very easy. We especially appreciated the bicycles provided. Highly reccomend!
