Breathtaking views of "Hawaii's Grand Canyon" with camping, hiking trails and access to the Napali Cliffs Overlook trails.
It's called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific for a reason. Several hikes end on the road to Kalalau Lookout and Waipio Falls Trail. Our favorite is the last lookout Pu’u O Kila Lookout which gives you great views of the Kalalau valley.
-like the Grand Canyon of Hawaii, amazing views. Long windy road up the mountains, you get to see our forests, temperatures will drop 10 degrees and it can sometimes be very misty. There are lots of hikes you can do in this area, canyon trail to Waipoo falls is 3 miles total so not too hard, and you get to see waterfall and beautiful views of the canyon
Grand Canyon of the Pacific! A spectacular gorge 10 miles long and 3600 feet deep carved by ancient rivers.
Breath taking views and many trails (from beginners to experts). While trying out the Kalalau trail to explore the Napali Coast is a great idea, the trail it self can be very difficult for many folks so choosing Hanakapiai Valley, which is much shorter and easier, especially in winter, might be a better option.
