Founded in 1885, the Crocker Art Museum is the oldest art museum west of the Mississippi River. It holds one of the state's premier collections of Californian art.
The Crocker Art Museum is a great accessible museum that doesn’t take all day to check out. Plus it is near Old Town Sacramento and the State Capital.
Great place to spend half a day. Wonderful art and exhibits, and great food too.
