Balmoral Castle is the country retreat of the Royal Family and tours are available during the year for the public to go and view the castle and its grounds and it is well worth a visit

The Queens Summer Residence. Open to the public when she is not residing. Check out in advance. Go to the Lochnagar Disterllery where you are there. It is about 1.5 hour drive from Stonehaven along the River Dee.

About 2 hours away. The Queens Scottish residence. When she is not there you can visit and walk around the picturesque grounds. Close to Ballatar for cosy wee shops.

For a fee, you can get a tour around the Queen's Summer Residence. It's a nice run out there along the Dee River Valley.
