Ever tried surfing? How about in a RIVER? Boise's got it! Go try it out at Boise's White Water Park - even if you don't try it yourself, it's a good time watching the surfers go at it

Owned by the city of Boise, Boise River Park is home to the Wave Shaper. Kayakers go here to hone in their skills. Really fun to watch! Directly across the Boise Greenbelt is Quinn's pond. Here you can swim, float, fish, kayak, paddle board or sunbath on the sandy beaches. Rent all your sports equipment at Idaho River Sports adjacent to the pond. The water is very clean and refreshing and is fed by the Boise River. www.boiseriverpark.com, www.idahoriversports.com

The Boise River Park is Just off the greenbelt. It's a great place to go to watch surfers and kayakers on the adjustable river wave. It all depends on the River flows but it is usually running well from March - November. If you are feeling adventurous you can give it a try.

The Boise River Greenbelt is a recreational and alternate transportation trail along the banks of the Boise River through Boise, Idaho, United States. The Boise Greenbelt is more of a greenway than a green belt since its character is linear. It extends more than 20 miles (32 km) beginning at Lucky Peak Dam in the east to a short distance beyond Eagle Road (Idaho State Highway 55) in the west in Eagle, Idaho. Taking into account both sides of the river and other parallel trails and spurs, the total Greenbelt trail system measures more than 30 miles (48 km).
