No trip to the Rondout area is complete without a visit to the Hudson River Maritime Museum - located a five minute walk down the promenade. Book a boat tour - chose from the sightseeing, lighthouse, sunset, live music, "wrecked and abandoned" or the solar powered "solaris" boat.

On the water front in Kingston, you can learn about the early years of industry and commerce on this critical part of the Hudson River. Many eateries, galleries and shops.

The Hudson River is vital to the history of the area. The museum is a great place to get a glimpse into the past. A small museum that is good for families with young children. Located on the Kingston waterfront lower Broadway.
