Very scenic bike/recreation path running from DC to Mount Vernon. You can rent bikes at Wheel Nuts, Big Wheel or another shop in Old Town and bike down to Mt. Vernon and back.

Farmers Market
“Since 1753, this Saturday Farmer's Market has been up, running and delivering its townsmen and women local and fresh produce and food. More than worth a stroll through on a leisurely Saturday morning.”

Vietnamese Restaurant
“For Vietnamese staples like bánh mì, pho, vermicelli, and summer rolls, Caphe Bánh Mì is the move. This shop nails the expected dishes, but they also get creative with broiled catfish bánh mì and vegetarian soy chicken with lemongrass. The prices can’t be beat -- grab a sandwich for under $10, while rice or vermicelli entrées will only run you a couple bucks more. And don’t skip the coffee.”
