Tips from locals
I love any chance I can go to the Castro Theatre. It's old-fashioned interior is breathtaking and a man plays an organ onstage before each show.
Beautiful movie palace specializing in international art films and American Classics!
Beautifully maintained old deco style movie theatre complete with an organ player. They play everything from sing-alongs to musicals to classic films to 80s nostalgia pieces. Check it out!
This legendary art house shows great movies and is the home for most San Francisco film festivals.
