Children’s beach was created when a concrete breakaway was constructed in 1931. Over time, the beach has been taken over by seals and their pups! Enjoy watching them sum on the beach and swim in the cove! You can walk out on the breakaway to get an even better view.

Many believe “La Jolla” means “The Jewel” in English, and although the translation is a mistake, the nickname fits this beachfront community. Stroll the sand, look out for tide pools.
