Another great walk/hike along the river! Particularly famous for bird watching and frequented by bald eagles, ospreys, and great blue herons. Bring your tackle for some flyfishing!

Another close place to enjoy the river and stroll, bike, or hike. If you go far enough, the trail connects to a section with a spectacular view of the mountains.

This a beautiful park on the Deschutes river with access to the River Trail. Park in the lot and head to the bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right on the trail to walk the river. It is a dirt and gravel trail. It can get muddy with snow melt.

A great park with fly fishing and swimming holes galore. You'll find locals here hanging all week. Typically less crowded than other parts of the river. Also a great walk or running trail.

Great walking trail for evening walks. You can go 3 miles 1 way and see river views and Mountain View. Go across the foot bridge then right when you come to a T go right and that will take you out to the amazing River Mountain View’s.
