Our family had an incredible time at Christie’s “mountain house” (as our kids called it). The short walk to the river was priceless and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

We were extremely pleased with Shinto and his house. The house and the surrounding area were more beautiful than the pictures could capture. Shinto was a very accommodating and I couldn’t ask for a better host. Will definitely be returning asap!

We had a lovely overnight stay at this house — everything looked just like the pictures, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Check-in was super easy, and Alena was always quick to respond, which made the experience even smoother. We got to enjoy the jacuzzi in the evening, and had a peaceful breakfast on the back porch in the morning. Overall, everything was clean, beautiful, and met our expectations. Thank you to the host for the warm welcome and for providing such a cozy place to relax!

Steven was very responsive to any questions we had. The place was beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was well maintained. The kayaks were fun. The outdoor area was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for regarding privacy. All amenities were as described.

Trade out the wailing sirens of emergency services for the sweet sounds of songbirds as you settle into a pleasantly isolated enclave of the Western Catskills. The house itself is meticulously furnished with beautifully appointed touches of comforting modern style, welcoming you to a truly memorable stay. Some personal highlights included relaxing in the hot tub and watching the sunset paint the sky with early summer hues, eating breakfast on the deck and spotting a pair of foxes playing beyond the trees, curling up on the couch to watch a movie and trying out the Bose Soundbar...consequently convincing me I need to get one. And although clouds got in the way of the stars we were hoping to see at night, I still gladly give the Cooley Mountain House the five stars it deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a lovely getaway, went up for Memorial Day Weekend and getting some nature in at Minnewaska state park, it was rainy this weekend so we ended up having more time at the house then planned but we were so cozy it was a delight, we had some empty tanks for the grill when we arrived but the hosts offered to reimburse us for the refuel which was very kind, also had a friend who left their jacket and keys and Kyle and Jasmine have been wonderful in helping them get it back! A great cozy stay, the ride up was scenic

The AK Lodge was perfect for our multi family, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Having private bathrooms in each bedroom was great. Justyna was very responsive and always answered any questions within minutes. We will defiantly be back.

Our family of 9 enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as depicted in the photos, with plenty of space for all of us. The breakfast supplies were a nice touch that we appreciated.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The outdoor space was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed lounging by the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The kids had a blast with the swing set and in the playroom. Just a heads-up: cell signal is limited in the area, but the WiFi worked well and kept us connected. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was perfect for our group! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The house has a stunning view of the lake and the kids loved the swing set in the yard. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was peaceful and picturesque — waking up to the lake view each morning was a treat. We would absolutely recommend this place to families or groups looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. Would love to come back again!

It was so beautiful place, me and my family had ever been. House was supper cleaned, there were all needed things for adults and kids. We all have very good time. Host Andy was very communicative and friendly. We felt we were in our family❤️🥰 we hope if we have a chance will came back here again!

Porters place was so beautiful that even though it rained constantly when we were there (which who can control the weather) it made for such a great spot. The bed and window view alone is worth it, the sauna and bath and cozy vibes make it great!

We were two families from NYC that spend three nights at this place. The house was more than spacious for the 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the four person hot tub, the firepit and badminton set. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. John was just a text away for any questions.

I stayed here for 4 nights and had such a fun time. The house was beautiful and decorated so nicely, you can tell the owners really love their home. Stacy is a great communicator, her instructions and recommendations were easy to follow. Overall my friends and I had a great girls trip, I’d definitely recommend staying here!

This was the best BNB we have ever stayed at! Very clean, comfortable, private, and beautiful. You can tell thought was put into every detail. We didn't want to leave! The beds were very comfortable, we even ordered the same bedding with the BNB Cozy Earth discount code that was in the bedroom once we got home (Thank you, Meng!). The location was also great and not too far from anything with a lot of scenic natural beauty. We stopped at the North Branch Cider Mill nearby for coffee and some shopping and that's now my favorite stop in the Catskills! We hope to be back again soon. 10/10!

Such an awesome spot! BUT note this is a glampsite rather than a full house. The toilet is an outhouse (very clean, but make sure to duck to not hit your head), the shower is heated but it's outdoor, I didn't have soap or towels provided that I saw, and the bed is a tri-fold mattress that folds out onto the floor of the little A-frame. The wood fire hot tub was amazing, the fire pit is nice, there are two chairs included, parking is easy, there is good quality firewood here but bring something to light it with and start the burn. The sound of the running water is worth every penny. The cabin also is heated via some sort of gas, which does a great job and making the space feel cozy but I woke up with a pretty good sore throat. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if from the heater. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just make sure the less earthy people in your group are not expecting a hotel room/house.

~5 Star Cabin in the Woods~ Beautiful, secluded property with a pristine natural waterfall right in the backyard! The fire pit and hot tub are our favs. The entire place is SPOTLESS! The extra fresh towels and comfy bed linens are a lovely bonus. Plus, a fully stocked kitchen! Bill is an amazing host. He thought of everything that you could ever need! He was super responsive, informative, and accommodated all of our needs. Can’t wait to return!!!

This place is absolutely beautiful, exactly as described, and more. Very private and serene location. Would have loved to have time to stay for longer and would love to come back. We were here in the summer, I would imagine it being magical in the winter as well. Great place, can't recommend more highly.

Excellent location to town. A nice house on Feagles Lake. A lot of fun things to do in and around the house. Really enjoyed our stay.
