This is a beautiful unit in a lovely setting. The unit is fresh and pristine and has everything you may need. This made for a very comfortable stay. Debra and Kori are great hosts: responsive, communicative, and there to help. The rental is in a good location for those planning to explore Sequoia National Park, being about six miles from the entrance to this vast park. I would definitely stay here again if our travels take us to this area.

Judith was a great host. The cabin is on the same property has her main house so she welcomed upon arrival. She proactively notified us of a planned power outage, which was nice. She provided “local” tricks in how to navigate the park and sights to be seen off the beaten path. The cabin was perfect. The deck overlooking the river is serene. The even as a strong swimmer I was humbled by the Kaweah. It’s a beautiful river, but very unforgiving, especially in the spring and early summer. Ask about places a short drive (or walk) from the cabin that are more accessible for swimming, especially for littles. Would recommend 10/10.

Our family had a very memorable time at this home. The pool was a hit and the water slide was fun for the whole family. The communication was fabulous as was the cleanliness and room in the home for our large as family of 6 and two fur babies. The home is only about a 1/4 mile from the Sequoia park entrance which was very convenient. White water rafting was only a few miles away as well. We would definitely come back! ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Golden House! We were swept up in its vintage charm, peaceful surroundings, the proximity to the North Fork river was amazing, and we loved watching the California Quails and their babies roam the backyard. At night, the view of the stars is spectacular! Very easy access to the Ash Mountain entrance to Sequoia, and so close to “downtown” Three Rivers and its shops. Alena was very responsive and helpful, and we felt right at home. The house was spotless and stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for our family of 5. I highly recommended Peter and Alena’s place if you are planning a trip to Sequoia NP.
