Holiday rentals with a kayak in Thunder Bay District

Kelly’s place made my family’s trip to Thunder Bay a memorable one. I was really impressed with how fully stocked the place was with supplies! We didn’t need anything extra. There were so many games and activities around, we never got bored. The space and size of the place was perfect for hosting a large group. I would highly recommend! The only thing very minor thing I would’ve wished for was the dock have been in the water, as we did a lot of swimming through the weekend. Overall 10/10. Thank you Kelly for an amazing weekend!

We rented Alexandra's beautiful home for a company retreat and it was so wonderful we are already hoping to rent it again. The majority of my team is local but the others were from across CAN and the US. We were all equally blown away by the view and the spaciousness. It's proximity to town made it easy to grab folks from the airport and for any last minute runs for supplies. (There is also a connivence store only a few minutes away.) We were there to play and test board games, and there was ample room to set up multiple games across various tables. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. There was more than enough dish-ware, supplies and linens/towels. It does get warm with the floor to ceiling windows but as long as you use the blinds and the many fans it is never to uncomfortable. The private beach and protected swimming area was great for refreshing dips and everyone loved the kayaks and paddle boards. 100 would recommend and stay again! Thank you!

This house exceeded all my expectations! The decor was simple and very fitting. The house was very comfortable and cozy. All kitchen appliances you could possibly need were available. I loved the deck and the outside area by the lake. It was such a relaxing experience. There was a booklet explaining local waterfalls and canoe waterways as well as board games, books and loaded TV to keep you busy. Also a foosball table! There was only two of us so we only used a small portion of the house. Lots of room and beds for a bigger group. I would 100% recommend this place. Christine also responded very quickly. This place definitely made you feel at home! I really hated to leave! I hope I get to visit again; 25 hours (one way) of driving may just be worth it! This was definitely a great place to unwind on our cross country trip. The town has everything you may need! I would totally recommend this place to anyone traveling through Northern Ontario!

This is my 2nd time coming to Jason's place and it was amazing again! Highly recommend coming here for the views, relaxation and gorgeous home! Me and my friends had an amazing time and definitely plan on coming again! Jason was highly responsive and accommodating. We had an issue that was not the hosts' fault and they responded immediately. Place was ultra clean as well.

Keri was a wonderful host who responded promptly answering any questions I had before the stay and during! The location had beautiful scenery, and the home was lovely. The sauna was a great addition which Keri was happy to setup for us when she was home! I will easily recommend this place to anyone passing through or looking for a quick getaway.

This beachfront cottage was everything advertised and more. Comfy beds, strong hot water, really well-equipped kitchen, fire pit…and the VIEW. We went in early October and the leaves were just turning. The cottage was a perfect central spot for all of our scheduled day trips to the provincial parks and sights in the area - even close to downtown. Mike was SO kind - welcomed us warmly and gave us local insights and tips about our planned stops. He even took the time to message us and point out the northern lights on two separate nights. 1000% would come back.

Definetely felt like home… had everything you might need or want… for a short stay or a long stay. The king bed was awesome… so comfortable and cosy. Great little find in a fantastic little town with so much to offer!

This my second time staying at 3 Sails and I have had an amazing experience both times. My Canadian family comes over to visit and we all agreed that this place is magical! Donna and Brian knock it out of the park with their home and their customer service. I'm planning on coming back next year and I can't imagine staying at any other place. We loved this home!! Enjoyed sitting down by the dock and relaxing. Home is super comfy and beds are comfortable. Many amenities in the property. Loved the peacefulness of this home and Jen was very responsive and helpful. Great communication.

We had a beautiful stay at Ny and Kristy’s place. It was perfect for myself and my two kids, and my nephew. The lake view was awesome and it was a quiet, beautiful location. We are definitely going to book again next time we come out this way! Wonderful.
