Great little cottage in a fantastic walkable/bike-able location. Small but a very useable, comfortable space for two. Loved the garage with private outdoor area and front yard bench under the lemon tree. Inside, all the amenities we needed and then some including well-stocked kitchen, some welcome goodies, and informative renter guide. The flights overhead came early in the morning, but the provided earplugs (of course!) allow you to sleep in if desired. We really enjoyed the Cable Cottage!

What an absolute wonderful stay this home offered. Right along the water , the sounds of the ocean the sounds of leisure everything was as described. Would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended the listing to others.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Soulful Retreat at Cloud Mountain We had the most peaceful and restorative stay at this guest home in Jamul. My partner was recovering from a hospital stay, and this place offered everything we needed—quiet, nature, and healing energy. The guest house was spotless and cozy, with thoughtful touches. We did yoga on the deck, hiked among boulders, watched every sunrise and sunset, and soaked in the hot tub under the stars. The coastal breeze, birdsong, and privacy made it feel like a true escape. We loved connecting with the warm, welcoming hosts and their family as well as their sweet animal companions both cats and dogs—including a very friendly pig named Violet! We hardly heard a single car or plane during our stay. If you're looking to reconnect with nature, this is the place. We left feeling calm, refreshed, and recharged—and we’ve already planned our return to Cloud Mountain. No need to look any further—this place is something special!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pretty much the perfect place to stay for an authentic Ocean Beach experience. Walkable to beach and town. Safe. Quiet. Clean. Everything was really great.

We loved Susie’s garden guesthouse! Very walkable to a lot of lovely restaurants and close to SDSU!

I had a great stay! The private parking was a huge plus, and the location was super convenient close to the freeway, which made getting around easy. The space itself was cozy and comfortable, and communication with the host was smooth and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and very well kept. Beach bungalow/ cabin vibe. Walking distance to anything and everything around Ocean Beach, which is so fun and lively but still peaceful! The cliffs down the road are a bit dangerous and windy but with the right shoes, so worth the views. We didn’t realize the hot tub was shared with 2 other units on the property but we got lucky and had no trouble using it when others weren’t and barely noticed our neighbors- they were very quiet. Owners were great and responded within seconds!

We had a wonderful stay here. Its a perfect size for our family with two toddlers. The home is super cute, well designed, clean and had everything we needed. Its also a great location, close to the beach and about 15-20 minute drive to get where we needed to.

Angelica's place is very beautiful nestled in between the mountains, peaceful and quiet. She is very responsive to any questions or needs. The donkey's and goats were very friendly. My kid had a wonderful time petting and feeding the animals. I think it was the highlight. There were citrus trees there that she let us pick from. The fruits were delicious. If you want a place to get away from and be isolated and absolute quiet, then this is the place. Glad we got the chance to enjoy the getaway.

We got in super late for a short stay, but the space was clean, charming, and very easy to access even late at night. TV was a great size too, and had all the necessary streaming services. Plenty of coffee pods were a perk! Brita with water full in fridge. Overall we didn't really want for anything, it was nice.

Terry and Rebecca were great and responsive hosts! The room was very cute, especially with the patio. The stay was cozy, peaceful, and private and perfect for our weekend getaway!

My partner and I had a memorable stay at the guest house loft in spring valley. From the ride down quail canyon with the provided golf cart, to soaking in the outdoor tub, and enjoying an outdoor movie by the fire. We certainly enjoyed starting and ending our day at spring valley. Everything we set out to do was a nice 25-30 minute drive away, to beaches and museums and dining experiences, we certainly didn't mind the short trips as we were able to come back to a beautiful private canyon that the sun would hit just right as we unwind. Allison was very responsive, and all instructions very clear. We recommend this place to our friends and family, and hope to visit again sometime.

Staying at Jorge’s place was like stepping into a dream. Every area was thoughtfully adorned with vintage charm, and the garden radiated a serene, magical atmosphere. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. Jorge and his wife were incredibly responsive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The mini mansion was tastefully decorated with unique antiques, and the tranquil garden added a touch of enchantment. Their warmth and care made us feel not just welcomed, but truly at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was a magical, meaningful experience we’ll always remember.

My wife and I enjoyed staying in “The Loft” guesthouse. It was clean, cheerful and located in a quiet neighborhood. The host is friendly and responded quickly to questions. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is large and well stocked with towels and washcloths. The guesthouse was located close to shopping, restaurants, and major San Diego attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed. We recommend The Loft for your stay in San Diego.

Loved it!! Amazing value. Comfortable for 2 people. Beautiful view and so relaxing. I get hot easy and get too nervous to book places without AC—but the room never felt too hot. Perfect temp and you fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. Bruce’ communication is above and beyond thanks again!!

Absolutely love love love this small yet mighty place!! I was impressed! It was so cute and clean! The shower was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the back yard was great for my dog. The hot tub was a great addition to the place. Nice way to chill out after a long day of adventuring! I love the washer and dryer! I felt right at home! Kevin and his spouse were the nicest ever! They are quick to respond. They are so accommodating. I had car problems and they recommended a great car shop for me in the neighborhood! I would definitely stay again and look forward to coming back to San Diego! Thank you sooo sooo much for your hospitality! You are an amazing host! Loved everything about it!

Mike has spent over 30 years transforming an already amazing Craftsman house into a curated space that is eclectic, inviting and relaxing. This is truly a labor of love and I’m fortunate that we were able to enjoy it for a nice long weekend in San Diego. Can’t recommend highly enough for a couple looking for a quiet retreat.

We loved our stay and were very impressed by the beautiful property. Very cozy with aesthetically pleasing decor and amazing views. Private location with a nice hot tub overlooking the mountains. We highly recommend and will be returning the next time we visit San Diego.

I recently stayed at Andee’s Airbnb in San Diego, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless—one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in. Every corner of the home felt fresh and well-maintained, making it incredibly easy to relax and feel at home from the moment I arrived. Location-wise, Andee’s place was absolutely perfect. It’s situated in a prime spot, close to everything you’d need to fully enjoy San Diego. Whether you want to hit the beaches, explore downtown, or check out some of the fantastic local restaurants, everything is just a short drive away. There were also plenty of grocery stores and cafes nearby, which made it super convenient to grab essentials or enjoy a morning coffee. Andee was a great host, always available and quick to respond to any questions I had.
