Really enjoyed my stay at this beach house. Had everything you needed and was a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

We stayed with two young kids and had the best week at the beach! The house was lovely, exactly as pictured and with so many great amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals each day and even had a booster seat for our 2 year old. The kids play room was a big hit with lots of fun toys and books. We loved being able to walk to the beach, a quick and easy 5 minute walk, to a beautiful and secluded section of the coast. It was a quick 5 minute drive to Manzanita to pick up groceries or coffee and easy access to the 101 for checking out other local beaches. The location is really special and we had such an amazing stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We definitely hope to return!

It was such a beautiful place to be and exceeded all expectations. The beach was very peaceful and not congested at all which was nice. Also one of the cleanest beaches I have ever been on. Everything was extremely comfortable. Amenities worked exactly as they should especially since we utilized all of them! :)

Wonderful, cozy, clean comfy cottage! Roomy kitchen and bathroom. Comfy mattresses. Very short walk to beach. Host was attentive and brought extra supplies without even being asked. Well stocked kitchen. No toilet upstairs for one senior, but I knew this when I booked!

Comfortable little place

The place is exactly as advertised -- a funky bar with a kitchen and some beds. Pool, air hockey, and video games were all fantastic. It was a fun way to spend a few days.

Beautiful home and view of the ocean. The location was very central to everywhere we went.

This cute spot is on a quiet dead end and walkable to town and the beach! Hot tub under the tree was just right. It had everything we needed and lots of character.

11/10, loved rockaway cottage! Perfect for traveling with two littles. The crib was an awesome addition so we didn’t have to bring a packnplay. Great location, Short little walk to the beach. Great little fire pit in backyard, and sand for our toddler to play in while we weren’t on the beach. All the necessary amenities for cooking at the house. We Appreciated the kids books and beach toys. Friendly and responsive! Would love to stay here again!

This sweet spot was perfect for a brief coastal stay with my aging parents. The accessibility features—especially at the entrance and in the bathroom—made everything more comfortable and low-stress, which we really appreciated. The garage made an excellent staging area for laundry and paddle boards, and the location is ideal: quiet and tucked away, but equidistant to both Manzanita and Nehalem. The home itself is thoughtfully appointed—cozy without being overdone, organized without being persnickety—and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals with ease. We were also traveling with our puppy-in-training for Guide Dogs for the Blind and found it to be very dog-friendly—much appreciated! When an unexpected leak cropped up from a newly installed dishwasher, the host responded quickly and kindly, resolving it within two hours and without disrupting our stay. We’d gladly stay here again—it’s a wonderful home base for exploring the coast.

This place is wonderful! The yard, patio and views are way better than the pictures. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Our kids loved the bunk beds! Our dog loved the yard. Great accessibility with ADA accommodations like wide doorways downstairs, shower and ramp. We wish the couch was more comfortable And there is not a bbq.

Excellent stay, 10 minute walk to the beach and very quiet! Equipped with everything you need to keep you comfortable for a few days. We were happy the shower was so warm and the bed was comfy. Extremely clean despite the naturey area (prone to bugs) and everything worked properly. The space is small so I wouldn’t recommended more than 2 adult bodies (and one infant), the space fills quickly. We did enjoy the grill and the beautiful flowers! No issues with the WiFi which is always appreciate. Thank you for having us!

Quaint cabin that was perfect for our family of four! Our kids loved the upstairs bedroom and playroom area and cooking s'mores in the outdoor fire pit. Nearby access to the beach and town was also great! We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

The cottage was beautiful and close enough to the beach that it was only a short walk. The area is very quiet, and makes for a great setting to sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery and sounds of the ocean. This was easily one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in my travels and definitely plan on returning in the future. Tillamook is only about 10 minutes away, so convenience is still pretty close by.

We love the area where this little cottage is located. We plan to come back often!

Amazing place to stay. Very cozy and incredible views with easy beach access. Pet friendly place, so a corner of the couch smelled a bit like dog, but otherwise immaculate. Doug is a wonderful host.

We had a large party of 11 with 5 kids and we had a wonderful time! It was clean and had all the amenities you could think of! We will be returning!

The view at this place is amazing! If it’s cold you can stay inside and still have a perfect view. Full kitchen is wonderful. I recommend!

My partner and I enjoyed a beautifully relaxing anniversary here at this charming house by the beach. We loved the character of the design like the pirate decor and ocean themes throughout the home. Everything felt very comfy and cozy!

Our family had a great stay at Janel’s place - there was plenty of room and the cottage is so well-stocked. She has thought of everything! The walk to the beach is short and the beach itself is beautiful. Recommend for a cozy spot on the coast!

Excellent location just a few blocks from the beach, nice wine bar next door, grocery a block down, and very quiet at night.

the location is great - quiet and beautiful surroundings. the house is old but charming and a good home base. kitchen was well stocked.
