The cabin is charming, old fashioned Norwegian style with classical Scandinavian design and all the comforts you need for exploring the area. Private parking near the cabin. Bus stop, cafe and convenience store within 500 meters walk. 30 minutes walk from lovely Å village. Close to starting point for Munkebu hike.

Moderne rorbu, ny 2018, til leie på Ballstad. Utsikt til store deler av den kjente Lofotveggen. Fjellene med turstier rett utenfor døren. Den populære Hauklandstranda ligger ca 15 minutter fra rorbua. Leknes by, flyplass og hurtigruten i kort avstand til rorbua. Ønsker du å prøve lykken i den fiskerike Vestfjorden, er leie av båt mulig. I månedene jan-april pågår det kjente Lofotfisket, og du kan oppleve dette fisket på Ballstad, som er et av Lofotens største og livskraftige fiskevær.

Tidligere atelier/galleri for kunstner Else Maj Johansson. Huset ligger mellom Reine og Å, og er perfekt plassert for de som vil oppleve ro og fred, være tett på norsk natur - men samtidig være i nærheten av alt man trenger. Step back in time in our traditional rorbu (fishermen’s cabin), originally built around 1890 and thoughtfully refurbished to blend old-world charm with modern comfort. You’ll still find the old alcove beds tucked under the ceiling—once used by local fishermen—but now complemented by fully renovated bedrooms with comfortable double and single beds and a modern bathroom.

It's situated in the middle of Lofoten with easy access to numerous tourist destinations in Lofoten by car.

Ta deg en pause og slapp av i denne fredelige atmosfæren. Huset har en fantastisk utsikt utover havet. Nydelig for øyet ved sol og stille hav, men eksepsjonelt skue ved dårlig vær og høye bølger. Huset ligger mellom Sørvågen (1,5 km)og Å(1,5 km). Til Reine /Reinebringen(fjellet)er det 8 km. Rolig sted. Nær busstopp, vann og innsjø. Anbefales!
