House holiday rentals in Tocha

Lisbon was nice, but our vacation started here. Having this beautiful home and a car, we explored the region and had a great time. Owners recommendations led to our favorites experiences on the trip. Can't recommend enough. The pics don't do it justice either, and the pics are amazing.

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Highlight was the unbelievable views from the pool and terrace. The villa and garden with pool & basketball/football court is completely private, perfect for small groups. There are some great local restaurants and river beaches, and Porto centre is only a short drive away. Be warned - there are lots of steep and narrow roads! João was a brilliant host - greeting us on arrival, and easy to reach throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Functional, pleasant and spacious house. As described and photos. Host welcoming and responsive. There are no negative points. We had a great time. You can rent this house without hesitation. If we return to Portugal, we will undoubtedly try to rent this house again. There were 8 of us, 7 adults and 1 child. The pool is lovely. And the hosts are very welcoming. The bottle of wine offered on arrival is a bonus that is very much appreciated.

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the moment of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with positive details, thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

We so enjoyed our stay! The house is amazing. Historic and cozy charm with modern amenities. We had so much fun with the soccer field, the pool, the pool table, hammock, and exploring the grounds. We picked lemons off the tree and made lemonade and a lemon dessert! We soo enjoyed meals at the big outdoor tables- wonderful to accommodate our large group of 7. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a treat!! We enjoyed walking into town and visiting the butcher, bakery, fish market and such. It’s a 25-minute walk through lovely hills, though there is not a sidewalk and the traffic was difficult to navigate at times, but we also drove to town. Sitting outside with morning coffee overlooking the valley was one of my favorite parts! My daughter and fiancé stayed in the detached cottage and found it to be so cozy and comfortable. Lastly, Isabel was very accommodating with some last minute changes, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found something truly special. ❤️❤️ The listing looked like paradise—but in person, it’s even more breathtaking. Every corner of Florbela’s property radiates peace, beauty, and care. And Florbela herself? An absolute gem. Her warmth, communication, and attention to every detail went far beyond anything we expected. Since the very single morning freshly bread and local pastries delivered, to all the things she left in the house, we never had to go to any supermarket. And if you need any veggies, there’s a garden where you can go and pick up fresh veggies and herbs. If you are looking to disconnect and create memories for a lifetime, this is your place. Florbela made us feel like family, and her hospitality turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed, but with a new friend. It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

I would give 10 stars if possible! The place is just amazing, Paulo and Isabelle created a beautiful paradise with a breathtaking view and everything one needs for an unforgettable holiday. And on top of that, they are amazing hosts: kind, helpful and just lovely. Obrigado, we loved staying with you

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Thank you Marta for your warm hospitality and attention to detail.

Rosaria is an adorable, recently renovated place in the montains near Leiria, surrounded by the nature, very peaceful and beautiful. The property is pet-friendly and exactly as described. Steve and Sarah are amazing hosts, and they made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t be happier for choosing their place to spend a few days in the countryside. I recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the city.

My husband and I needed a break in the country side and James place was perfect. James gave us some great tips for the area.His house and farm are very big and beautiful and we had a very relaxing few days. The little town of villa de rei is only 10 min away. Great bush-walks with lovely cool waterfalls and places to swim are near by.Definitely can recommend James place to anyone.We hope to come back one day.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We had such a glorious stay, we cannot recommend it enough. Carolina was super responsive and accommodating, gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and kindly booked a couple of reservations for us. Everything is within walking distance throughout the city. The apartment is surrounded with beautiful views. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus to cool down in the late afternoon, not overlooked at all. Thank you again x

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The house was exactly as pictured - clean, modern, and bright. The pool and deck were beautiful and we spent many evenings just enjoying that space. The neighborhood is quiet and you are a very short drive from the town and the beach. It’s a great spot to do day trips from as well. There is also a large supermarket right nearby which was great to have. It was hard for us to leave and we definitely recommend this house!

My family very much enjoyed this unique and calm location in a refurbished mill house. There is a boardwalk across the road that brings you to the village. David was responsive and helpful. Would gladly return.

A fantastic and unique space that really shows the incredible potential of buildings in Porto. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, and communication with the host was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

An outstanding gem among Airbnb accommodations! The house is very personal and tremendously attractive, as well as very high-quality. Even if you immediately feel at home, you have great respect for the services that the owner and this property have invested. There's nothing missing! Fabulous house with everything you need and a great sense of space, both inside and out. Clean, modern and very well equipped. Exceeded our expectations. Lovely, friendly and safe village. Would highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay in Cernache. The spacious apartment offered enough space for all our needs and was attractively furnished and very clean. The processed wood has a great scent. Antonio greeted us personally and gave us tips on the stay and the area. The garden with orange and lemon trees, which gave us fresh juice for the breakfast table, a playhouse and swings as well as a small pool, which especially pleased our daughter, was particularly beautiful. It is only a stone's throw away from Coimbra, but Cernache also welcomed us very kindly, the locals were all very accommodating. Thank you!
