You can enjoy autumn scenery in various places, including Hakuba/Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and highlands to see the autumn leaves. When you return, relax in the sauna and water bath. In the evening, enjoy a quiet time in the countryside while enjoying a BBQ and the starry sky. Since it is a whole house rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, it is recommended not only for family or group trips, but also for couples or small groups staying for consecutive nights. Conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, so you can stay comfortably even for multiple nights. You can get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please contact us in advance. October and November are the seasons to enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, with a wealth of natural areas such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. It is a calm space with a traditional Japanese house motif. The living room features a large horikotatsu-style sunken hearth where you can enjoy meals and drinks. There is also a counter bar with 4 seats. Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Shiga Kogen, Madarao Kogen Ski Resort, and Togari Onsen Ski Resort are nearby, making it an ideal base for winter sports. During the green season, there are eight golf courses that can be reached in about 30 minutes, including the Madarao Country Club, which is a 5-minute drive away, and there are also many day-use hot spring facilities. The owner lives on the right side after going up the front entrance and can be contacted at any time. He speaks English at a level that allows for everyday conversation. During the green season, you can harvest fresh vegetables from our own farm at any time, and you can also enjoy a barbecue in the gazebo in the garden. The garden is also large, so you can enjoy a short walk. Iiyama's specialty product is its famous green asparagus, which can be enjoyed from May to July. There is also a roadside station nearby where you can enjoy fresh vegetables and delicious soba noodles.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
