Entire Rental Cabin - Countryside Hidden House Cottage Hideaway

A luxurious location overlooking an apple orchard and Mt. Iwaki. This is a large log house with a large wooden deck where you can experience the beauty of the seasonal Aomori "Tsugaru". Capacity is 6 people. You will have the whole house to yourselves. The natural texture of wood unique to log houses. A high ceiling with a skylight, a large wooden deck, a living room with a wood stove and a relaxing sofa, and a tatami mat room that extends from the living room welcome you. The tatami mat room is a room with a view of Mt. Iwaki from the window, which everyone wants. The entire house has been renovated and is equipped with WiFi for a comfortable stay. The 2,000-tsubo property and log house are private spaces for guests only during your stay. The log house is located a little off the road, like a hideaway. We offer a satisfying environment for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time, as well as those who want to have a lively and fun time with family and friends.

Farmhouse - A limited set of farm houses per day, and the entire house is rented

We accept reservations for 2 or more people. Seizekan, a farmer's inn, is located in the mountains about 25 minutes by car from Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture, and a 15-minute walk from Hachimangu Naganodairu Station on the Akita Inland Railway. Surrounded by rice fields, it is a quiet and natural environment. We renovated the second floor of a farm work shed that used to be a cowshed, and created an accommodation space with a kitchen, bath, and toilet. This space is for one group of guests per day. Some people say, "It's like returning to my parents' house." In the summer, we recommend that you spend a leisurely time feeling the breeze, and in the winter, we recommend that you lie back and listen to the sound of the boiling water in the hot water heater while facing the firewood stove. Please feel free to look into the vinyl greenhouse or go out to the hot springs.

And, check-in/out is done by yourself, so you do not need to worry of being physically close to anyone. Contemporary Japanese design two bedroom self-contained apartment located in quiet area halfway between Oyu Onsen at the center of the village and the Nagasaka Gondola, snuggled in a pocket next to the mountain. 5-10 mins walk to both Nagasaka gondola (about 300m) and Hikage bowl area (400m to Yu-road escalator). Similar distance to the village center shops, cafes and restaurants. Comfortable for families and small groups of 4-5 with or without children, maximum 6.

Nozawa House Nozawa Onsen On the Snow

Nozawa House is an amazing self contained 3 bedroom house where you can ski back to the door and still only a 300m walk to the centre of the village. Amazing views from the living areas and bedrooms. Warm wooden feel and can see the chair lift running above the river behind the house. Great for families or groups of friends. Japan in general is an easy and safe place to travel around and getting to Nozawa is very easy with public transport. Just 3 hours from Tokyo.
