This is a story from a few years ago. I rented a vacation home with four families of friends in Kailua, Hawaii. I wondered if I could recreate the most enjoyable vacation rental near Tokyo?! And so, after searching the land along the coast of Chiba, we finally arrived here, in Hinata, Isumi City. We created "Hiali Plus" with a focus on a comfortable space and a pleasant environment for group stays. The Hiiro Coast, a 5-minute walk away, is a pristine beach in Minamiboso Quasi-National Park. There are few people whenever you go, and it is just like a hideaway. The water temperature is high until around October, so you can enjoy playing in the sea. The compact yet airy cabin sleeps up to 4 with single mattresses and a sofa area, plus Wi-Fi for workations or streaming. A stocked kitchen supports easy self-catering. Outside, enjoy a BBQ deck, and for an extra fee, a private 80–90°C self-löyly sauna. Up to two small dogs and one parking space are included.

Log-style lakeside cabin in Nagara, Chiba (~1 hr from Tokyo). A calm nature escape filled with birdsong and breezes, perfect for families or friend groups. Sleeps up to 6 with a stocked kitchen and appliances for easy self-catering, plus parking for 2–3 cars. Enjoy BBQ and a firepit on the deck or gazebo in any weather, then relax under starry skies. Optional sauna hut (60–80°C) is ¥5,000 per session, with outdoor cooldown and a bath. Up to 2 small dogs welcome. Late checkout at 1:00 pm.
