What a fantastic experience in the mountains. Hamilton & Alejandra took perfectly care of us. We got hot drinks whenever we wanted & needed them. The rooms are super nice, simple but beautiful. And the place is breathtaking. Located in the middle of the mountains you can watch the fog close or open over Manizales, you can feed Colibri birds from your hands and enjoy the calm peace close to the stars. In case you want to hike, your hosts are also there to support you or even guide you, depending on your needs. Overall one of the best AirBnB experiences ever and highly recommended. Please bring clothes for cold weather and make sure your car has good tires to go up the mountain in case it rains. If you want to sleep in private book the rooms, otherwise you can also sleep in the dorm tent.

Wunderschönes Airbnb etwas ausserhalb von Salento, mit Uber, Bus oder Taxi ist alles problemlos erreichbar. Die Gastgeber haben uns willkommen geheissen und geben hilfreiche Tipps zu den zahlreichen Ausflügen, die man direkt zu Fuss starten kann. Sie haben uns auch ein Taxi für ins Cocora Valley gebucht und standen bei Fragen immer zur Seite. Leckeres Frühstück (inklusive) und Abendessen (auf Anfrage) sowie eine Gastküche stehen eben zur Verfüfung. Unser Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr gemütlich und ausreichend gross. Sehr schöne Umgebung mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen:-) Danke für alles.

El hotel hace parte de una finca cafetera, donde se puede apreciar la naturaleza en pleno. Es un lugar rodeado de plantas y pájaros. Recomendado al 100%. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y confortables.

Wanneer de deur geopend wordt sta je in een oase van een binnentuin, bomen, bloemen en hangvarens. Hangbanken, stoelen en een buiten keuken onder een afdak dus met regen zit je droog in de tuin. Er is een mooi zwembad met een zonnig terras. Schaduw van de bomen of zon zijn er de hele dag. Rondom de binnenplaats zijn de kamers en 2 boomhutten. Zelf mochten wij in de boomhut met een privé dakterras en klein zwembad. Wij voelden ons thuis met het warme en lieve welkom. We konden heerlijk vrij bewegen en je kon verrassend veel deuren openschuiven waardoor je het gevoel heb half buiten te slapen. En het geeft verkoeling. Er groeit ook een boom naast je bed. Het is met veel liefde en aandacht bedacht en gemaakt. Met natuurlijke materialen en oude details. ‘s morgens wordt er koffie en een heerlijk ontbijt voor je gemaakt door de Kok. De mensen zijn ontzettend lief, behulpzaam, in voor een praatje en een grap. En laten je ook heel erg je eigen gang gaan. Een pareltje! Saskia & Ag

I felt like a princess. The space was absolutely stunning, better than the photos. The bed, the views, the blankets, everything was so thoughtful, stylish, and clean. It has few reviews so far but dont worry, it is top notch. It has zero road noise, and it is easy to find bc it is correctly placed on map app with a labeled entrance. Staff was all very friendly, and the cabin itself is fantastic. Highly recommend waking up w the sunrise on the porch. I go to valley de cocora twice per month and this is one of the two best places ive stayed nearby in the last year. Álvaro the head dude speaks English.

Un sitio completamente maravilloso la vista es algo espectacular, me encanta que fuimos varias personas ya que tiene 3 habitaciones, la experiencia de llegar en jeep al lugar es fantástica no se la pueden perder, la persona que nos recibió súper amable y atento, está equipada con todo lo que uno necesita para la estadía, simplemente volvería encantada.

Súper experiencia la que disfrutamos en El Glamping El Encanto. Una cabaña sencilla pero muy cómoda, muy limpia y con una vista increíble tanto de día como de noche, el baño al aire libre es una experiencia interesante, expuestos a la inmensidad de la montaña, que era toda nuestra. Nos animamos a dormir con la cabaña abierta para disfrutar del clima, fue una buena idea, super recomendado. La comida y la atención de Ricky, nuestro anfitrión, fue más que agradable, suficiente y con detalles muy especiales que no nos esperábamos. Adicional, nos recomendó varias actividades para realizar en la zona y sitios para visitar. Excelente servicio, y super el sitio!

This location can be found at the hearth of the "EJE CAFETERO". Is an amazing property with unparallel views and things to do. From the beginning you will be transported to another dimension where nature surrounds you and the peace and friendliness of its people makes you never want to leave. The place is big enough for a big family and what really makes it even more special is the staff working continuously to make you r staying and unforgettable experience. Ivan helped me set up an amazing end of the year with my family and I couldn't be more thankful. When I come back to Pereira next year I will surely be renting this property as I can see becoming a tradition. Don't over think it and take advantage of a one of a kind opportunity to embrace this icon of Colombian culture!

Imagine the best possible AirBnB experience and then make it better - that's what staying at Gina and Alex's home is like. My wife and I stayed at their place along with three friends on the weekend leading up to a race we were running in the area. The goal of the weekend, besides the race, was to get in as much running as possible, as we were all training for longer races in the coming months. Upon arrival, to Cajamarca, Gina's husband Alex met us in town, guided us to the grocery store, and then led us to their home. When we arrived to the house we were happy! The property is gorgeous and tucked into a vibrant forest. We knew we chose the right place. Gina greeted us warmly and showed us the home and we chose our rooms (all are beautiful!) After getting settled, we talked to Gina and Alex about our goal to get in a lot of running. We said we even wanted to get in a short run that very evening. They did not just accommodate us by offering tips on nearby trails (which would have been great), but went above and beyond! Alex actually led us on his motorcycle the evening that we arrived. The next morning, he hiked and ran with us through the area countryside. He led us to a small, family dairy farm where, in the middle of our run, we milked cows. Then, later, we went to an avocado farm! The entire 4 hour excursion was made into a memory for life by Alex's eagerness to share his knowledge of the land with us and introduce us to new things, places and people. If that had been it, it would have been a 5 star experience, but everything really was beyond amazing and I've never been anywhere or met people so accommodating to others' schedules. From the meal around the fire the night we arrived, to the late breakfast the following day (ready for us when we arrived from our 4 hour outing with Alex), to the comfortable rooms and beds with beautiful views and property. It was ALL perfect. But then, the bonus: On-site massages! They have a dedicated room for massage and Gina is a talented masseuse! For a bunch of runners, this was a gift! My wife and I each had two massages during our stay and they were well worth it! Other small things: All the food they cooked was local and much of it organic. The food was very delicious and thoughtfully and lovingly prepared. They serve local, organic coffee that is on par with some of the best local coffees I've had. And, just to top it off, Gina and Alex and their daughter (who also worked to make our experience a 5*+ one) gifted us with very thoughtful parting gifts for being their first guests. If you find yourself traveling to Cajamarca don't look any farther than this sanctuary in the forest....

Lili's place offers a unique retreat for nature lovers. The room is simple and could use a bit of maintenance, but the garden is truly breathtaking and provides an unbeatable view. Both Lili and Carlos were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my stay, ensuring I had everything I needed. A couple of points to note: 1. The WiFi does not work. Lili kindly provided occasional access via her phone’s hotspot, but it isn’t a substitute for a proper connection if you need it. 2. The property is about a 10-minute walk from Salento Center along a poorly lit road, so caution is advised when walking at night. I would definitely come back again!
