"Driftwood, your Hebridean escape by the sea"

JulieRating, 5 starstoday
This is an amazing house and location. The views are truly magnificent and with visiting sheep and lambs. Very peaceful sitting outside on the decking with a glass of wine or in the house. Dolina has thought of everything and we had a lovely stay. Some great places to visit nearby; Reef beach, Uig sands and would highly recommend dinner at Sands restaurant. Venture out further afield, lots to discover…we went from the North to the south of both Isles….amazing beaches to discover; Luskentyre, Seilebost. A walk to the ‘stacks’ recommended and great photos. The Callanish stones a good visit. Visiting weaving sheds and the Eagle observatory recommended and we bought some tweed to remind us of our lovely visit and special memories.

Valasay Cottage - the one across the footbridge

An absolutely perfect place to stay. Lovely to explore Lewis from, and very cosy to return home to. We would definitely return if the opportunity arose. We feel we really absorbed the unique atmosphere of the area.

What a beautiful cottage, with fantastic views! We spent 3 nights at the cottage, when visiting the islands, providing an ideal location for exploring. For two couples and two dogs, we really enjoyed our stay, finding everything we needed in the cottage. Well maintained, with a really nice presentation and welcome treats

Hebridean Bothy Pods - Bothy Buidhe

JohnRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was a delightful place to stay. A romantic and cosy cabin, perfect for two. It was superbly clean and the facilities second to none. Everything needed plus more was there, even some pasta and beans for anyone turning up in need of one meal. The view over the loch and mountains was magnificent. I even saw a red deer jump the fence near the delightful rear garden which was a real sun trap. We loved the seating space by the door which was cosy and in the sun. It was the perfect base to travel around the island and a delight to return to in the evenings. Thanks Innes for making it such a lovely place. Please note that if you use just the post code (as we did) to find the place that is not helpful. Use the instructions provided by Innes

Restored croft cottage. 5 minutes from Reef Beach

JudyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a great stay at the house with all the equipment and facilities anyone could need. The location was brilliant for us, and Richard's helpful tips and advice about local eateries, shops etc were very welcome. He had provided a delicious and very generous treat in the refrigerator on arrival, which not only did we really appreciate, but it meant we sought out the local products to take back as gifts! Many thanks Richard

Panoramic Sea Views - hot tub

LoganRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved staying at the Larch Shed! Hallin is a beautiful slice of Skye with much to do and is a little off the beaten path from the main tourist areas like Portree. Jane was very hospitable and friendly, and we enjoyed our conversations with her. The Shed itself was exactly as described and very peaceful with an absolutely stunning view of the bay to start and end your day with. Everything was well appointed and we enjoyed the rustic decor. Highly recommend the YurtTea down the road for small breakfast and coffee, as well as nearby Stein Inn for amazing dinner. We also enjoyed Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan for dinner. Would recommend stopping at the co op on Forest rd in Portree for cooking provisions on your way up. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our return!

VincentRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Superb accommodation, exceptionally clean and very highly maintained. Fantastic location with stunning views over Loch Roag towards Uig. Close to the major historical sites and only 30mins from Stornoway. Lovely local craft shops nearby, Hebridean Soap and Dancing Flowers to name a few. I would highly recommend this special property as a great base to explore the beautiful Island of Lewis. Vince Jones Arbroath

Seaview Blackhouse - Lovely sea views

The Blackhouse is situated in a beautiful part of the country. The views are truly outstanding. Communication with Aonghus was fantastic and the house is exactly as described. A great place to get away from it all.
