Although the shared pool is available until November, the water is cooler when the days are less sunny, and can be cold in winter! We have lots of orange trees, lemon trees and tons of fig trees. The house is located 6 km from the nice town of Tomar, between Lisbon and Coimbra. It is rural, but not remote and you can walk straight into the forest. A vast botanical garden with cacti, palms, a lovely swimming pool, a hammock, some fruit trees and a small olive grove. The house has an attractive living room with a Mediterranean open kitchen, air conditioning and a cozy wood stove. Tomar is a beautiful historic town, full of nice shops, cafes and restaurants. Own car is recommended.
