Bus (no. 24) goes right outside the house and it takes about 10 minutes to the city center. If you prefer to walk, it takes about 30 minutes. The studio is newly renovated, and contains its own bathroom and combined living room/sleeping alcove. It does not have a full kitchen. As our guests, you are welcome to use the garden with us. Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Super fast wifi in the apartment. You can enjoy the midnight sun in summer or the Northern Lights in winter, sitting out on the terrace with a blanket. If you have a car (parking by arrangement) In winter times we recommend you to rent a car with 4 wheel drive, so you can drive up to the house.

The place is perfect for northern lights watching and nature experiences with proximity to the Lyngen alps. The site is located directly below the northern light belt with little light pollution, 50 minutes from Tromsø. It is recommended to rent a car and we offer a discount deal at Hertz.
