Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. Enjoy the lovely nature around the house. Take a swim from the jetty, light the wood-fired sauna by the sea. Take a ride on the boat. Cook over an open fire. Visit the sea bath, cozy summer café or farm shop nearby during the summer. In winter, there are dog sleds not far from the house. The new unique, atmospheric semi-detached cottage was completed for Christmas 2023. Äkäsvilla is a log cabin for quality-conscious holidaymakers in the new Röhkömukanmaa area in Äkäslompolo. The cottage accommodates 6 guests. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of ski trails, slopes and nature trails. From the large windows of the living room/kitchen, you can admire the mountain landscape and see the starry sky and the northern lights in the evenings. 1.4 km to the slopes. 3 km to the store

Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Villa Äkäsjoensuu

Atmospheric log cabin on the shore of Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cottage accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs you will find a hallway, a kitchen with a great fireplace, a sauna, a shower room, a toilet and a bedroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with views of nature.

Stay North - Villa Housu

Set in Äkäslompolo near Ylläs ski resort, Housu is a thoughtfully designed home accommodating up to 9 guests. Completed in 2023 with architect Otso Virtanen and the interior designed by Fyra, reflecting meticulous craftsmanship. Finnish spruce defines the warm interior, complementing the Arctic surroundings. Filled with natural light, it features a cosy living area, modern kitchen, and a master bedroom overlooking the terrace and jacuzzi, ideal for relaxation after days of adventure.

The outdoor house at Snöberget

Friluftshuset at Snöberget is located at the foot of the Snöberget Nature Reserve and right by the Råneå River. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Lapland landscape just outside the house, while also having easy access to activities such as hiking, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and swimming in the summer. This house is also perfect for viewing the northern lights. In addition, we have a very nice barbecue area in the yard, which guests are more than welcome to use.

You can see Torne river and hear the rapids.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights.
