A small, charming cottage and a yard sauna in the beautiful landscape of the Tornionjoki river. The cottage has a toilet, a well-equipped kitchen, a fridge, a freezer, a stove and a microwave. Two fold-out sofa beds. In the courtyard sauna, you can take atmospheric saunas and plunge into the Tornionjoki River, or in winter you can cool off by rolling in the snow. The bathing water is heated in the sauna pot. The nearby main building also has a sauna and shower, which are freely available. In winter, you can see the northern lights from the cottage yard.

Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

The main building has a kitchen, dining area and living room. Separate toilet with washing machine and dryer, as well as an electric sauna and shower room with toilet seat. Two bedrooms (both with double beds), a loft with a sofa bed (120x200) and, if necessary, 2 extra beds. In addition, the main building has an access from the outside to the additional room upstairs, with two beds as well as armchairs and a small fridge for two. Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Enjoy Lapland in a peaceful environment in this comfortable cabin. Getaway from the city and experience the true northern nature. There is a wide selection of winter activites arranged near by like (reindeer farms, snow mobile tours etc.) and the location is less than an hour drive from bigger attractions (Rovaniemi, Santa Claus village, ski resorts). In the summer there are SUP-boards you can use for free and a wood heated grill. Nearby is also a nature trail called Sompasen luontopolku.

Mökissä on viihtyisä tupa, takka ja hyvin varusteltu keittiö nurkkaus. Yläkerrassa vuoteet ja upeat näköalat. Vieraamme ovat nauttineet puulämmitteisestä saunasta ja uimisesta, suppailusta ja järvellä veneellä soutelusta. Rannassa myös oma laavu, jossa voit illalla tulistella ja ihailla upeaa aurigonlaskua ja valmistaa vaikkapa i ruokaa.

Onnela Spacious cozy detached house in the beautiful scenery of Ylitornio. The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.
