very nice house to be with friends. it worked perfectly for 3 couples and 4 children. with proper heating for the cold. outdoor area for good for playing with children. kitchen equipped with appliances to be able to feel at home.

This place is absolutely stunning. My whippet was over the moon about this surrounding. This is a huge place, with a private, small river with chill-out areas alongside. Herbs and and trees all-over the place. I loved that there were 2 sections of the property: 1. the "Insta-like" garden with jacuzzi and BBQ and the 2. wilderness of private mini-trail alongside the river. The hosts are very responsive. All my messages were replied within literally 10 minutes. Im someone who would not like to sleep alone in a house in a forest, but in this case the host´s house is on the same property, so I didnt feel alone, still they gave me 100% privacy. When I arrived I was showed around, they recommended herbs to make tea with, told me about trails around and shortly about the history of the village. Im very sure I will be a regular here :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Adega. The beauty of the surrounding landscape took our breath away, and at times, we had to pinch ourselves. From the stunning sunset views over the pool to the thoughtful craftsmanship and interior details of both villas, every detail was considered. The location is simply unbeatable. Tucked away in a peaceful olive orchard in central Portugal, it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. Will, our host, was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. There was also a curated list of great local attractions, which helps you make the most of the surrounding area. We truly didn’t want to leave and would wholeheartedly recommend Casa Adega to anyone looking for a serene and beautiful getaway.

This was the most amazing villa we’ve stayed in. We stayed in the main villa that features a wonderful kitchen, outside BBQ and the most wonderful lounge area (huge!) that has a bi-folds on to a balcony that looks out to rolling hills. The facilities are brand new, and include everything you need. Each room has its own balcony area, that leads on to private lawns with loungers. To the opposite site of the villa, a large pool that is cleaned every morning. Vitor is on site for any questions/help. There can be a strong breeze so bring something with sleeves for sitting out in the evenings.

The house was very spacious with a large pool. We had a great stay and Miguel was very responsive! I recommend it, we'll be back!

This is a special spot in a gorgeous part of the Setubal peninsula. It's extremely quiet and even though there is a house behind and next to it, it feels very private. Even when people were enjoying the pool in the house behind this one, I could barely hear them as I sat out on my peaceful front patio. The completely fenced-in yard was a great spot for my dog to explore. The kitchen is completely stocked and the rental even came with paper towels (a true rarity), and a complimentary bottle of wine and water. The bathroom had plenty of soap and toilet paper -- something that's not always a given here. The beds were comfortable, the windows were new and solid, and the outdoor shower was a nice way to cool off after a ride using the included bikes. The region is gorgeous with many beautiful hikes and vistas everywhere. Perhaps the best part of it all though, was Joao's communication. He was always quick to respond and had great local recommendations. Can't wait to come back!

An unforgettable week in your holiday home Our week in your holiday home was truly a dream. The panoramic view over the ocean and the beach was breathtaking , waking up to that view every morning was pure magic. What made the stay extra special were the small observations that coloured local life. It was fascinating to see how people enthusiastically took selfies at the most beautiful places. It was also impressive to see how suppliers brought their products down the steep stairs – a true art in itself. The balcony was a true paradise: spacious, comfortable and with a view that invited us to enjoy the surroundings for hours. Although we noticed the musty air in the bedroom, we accepted this. With the tips we received to regulate the humidity, we were able to further optimise our stay. A fan for the night would be a welcome addition to improve the air circulation. Charming and peaceful.Elio was very friendly and helpful to us and spoke very good English which helped since we do not have much Portuguese. The cottage was lovely and the surrounding countryside stunning. We enjoyed the pool and also the little plunge pool just outside our front door.

It is already the second year we repeat and we will continue to do so because in this Casinha everything is good energy and comfort and Erika is exceptional, attentive, kind and generous.

It was a very pleasant experience! Margarida’s place is beautiful, quiet, comfortable, charming and she really made us feel like home. A true gem! Great place to stay for a family vacation with lots to do around.

This is our 3rd time back to Miguel’s house. We love it here, it’s perfect with or without children. We have done both. It’s a great location, peaceful but with a few useful places in the village and a really quick drive to any and all amenities and supermarkets. We will most certainly be visiting again. Nice house and terrace. It is a little outdated and could use some modernization. The room is spacious and there is a nice terrace with view.

A group of friends who gathered at José Pedro's house, we loved the whole experience. The exterior area of the house is exceptional, barbecue, swimming pool, living area in front of the pool, provided us with what we were looking for. The grandmother's house corresponded exactly to the photos, it was very well equipped, well cared for and was very welcoming, in which we felt as if we were at home. It has a pleasant outdoor space and it is possible to park on the premises. In addition, it is well located about 10 minutes from the beaches of Sesimbra. From the beginning, we felt well received by Gonçalo, who always responded whenever we had any questions, as well as by Mr. Afonso, who received us in a very friendly way and was always available to help us. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Sesimbra, whether you go as a couple or with small children!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is a little grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. It was a lovely spot to stay and drive to Fatima and other sites in the area. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the place and they came right away and met us. Would definitely stay again!!

It was great staying at Marta’s place, the kitchen is spacious and has everything you need, the rooms are confortable and has enough blankets (it was a bit cold when I went). The location could be a bit tricky to find, the surrounding is peaceful and super quiet, 10 min drive to a beautiful beach, wish I had more time but my stay was short. Would go back again.

Virginia communicated nicely. Her daughter Marta greeted us very nicely and was very helpful. The property was charming and very rustic. The garden and pool area were surprisingly spacious and characterful

We felt very comfortable in Benoit's house. Everything is there for a nice trip to the sea. In the rather simple village, you are almost the only tourist. Coffee, milk and bread are available on site. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest supermarket. But that was described.

Rosa was a wonderful host, very kind and always available if we needed her. When we arrived late in the evening, Rosa made sure we had items to nibble on and drink to enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay, and can’t thank Rosa enough. Accommodation was lovely, a taste of Portugal within a good walking distance to restaurants and a short drive from Sintra. Lovely pool, quiet and beautiful setting to relax in. We felt very comfortable and could just enjoy ourselves stress free! Thanks Rosa for your consideration and kindness.
