We visited Senja for a second time for ice climbing and ski touring. Skaland is a good location close to variety of climb and ski touring spots. Ken’s house is a great place to live in Skaland. Private, spacious, comfortable and very clean. It is equipped with everything one may need for a comfortable stay ( apart from a coffee machine but Ken said he is going to buy one soon :) Ken is a great host - friendly, responsive and effective. We highly recommend it!

Lovely spot, very large for just the one person I was. Solid central base for many of the fine Senja hikes and catch up on my reading. Good kitchen which I used every evening for my ‘fine dining’ Nice to have washing machine and dryer as well. Beautiful views from the house across the Fjord and towards Segla mountain. Responsive host and yummie chocolates as a welcome gift.

We had a wonderful stay and felt at home. The location is unique with a view of the fjord. The house has everything you need to live and is well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and pleasant. We can give our full recommendation and would love to come back for another visit to Senja.

The space is amazing. Well equipped. Great location for what we wanted to do in the area. Our favorite home in our two week stay. But even better than the space, was the host. Jovanna was so communicative, friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. Far and away the best Airbnb host we have encountered in our many many years of travel.

Thank you ever so much for sharing such a precious corner of your home with us! Fjordgård is a true gem, and Sanija's careful eye for detail and warm hospitality made a stay here truly unforgettable! The townsfolk were very kind with us too, and it was simply magic to experience Senja as a local, albeit for a few days... many thanks again, looking forward to returning in the future!

Great stay. Loved the little rooms as we were travelling for work. So peaceful. Beautiful views. Would’ve loved to stay longer. Good shower. Could use a pasta strainer but otherwise full kitchen. Lovely family cabin!

Wonderful place and great hospitality!

A very peaceful and idyllic fishing village. The village itself is quite small and the nearest store is 20 km away, which is worth taking into account. The island of Senjan is full of wonderful places, which are a short drive away. In Skrolsvik, there is an old military station/base built by the Nazis, which is indeed a place worth seeing, and hiking trails to the nearby mountains start just a few kilometers from the accommodation. The host of the accommodation is very friendly and responded quickly to questions. The property is very large and spacious. Beds were found for a total of 10 people in four different bedrooms. Strong recommendation for the destination!

Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

A beautiful cabin at a beautiful location, nice hosts and good size bedrooms.

We were just passing through, arrived late in the evening and left again in the morning. We were warmly welcomed, could still use the sauna (which is directly in the room) It was warmly furnished and prepared. Bath/shower are quite small and are shared with Helene and her children. 😊 It was really great. The view from the room🥰...

Absolutely beautiful place. Much nicer than in the pictures! Large house with plenty of space and difficult bedrooms. Amazing view of the sea and nice jetty to swim and fish from. Here we will come back!

We had a wonderful time The space is equipped with all the comforts. Constantin is very friendly and wants you to have a lot of fun during your stay. He had a lot of good tips! The boat for fishing was fine. A bit on the small side, but for the waters deeper in the fjord, it's perfectly fine. My husband has enjoyed using it. The grill hut was my favorite. It is very cozy to grill something during colder or rainy evenings or to sit together by the fire!
