Based in Azumino and Ikeda Town in autumn, embark on a journey to see the stunning views of the Northern Alps and the colorful autumn foliage. In Shinshu, from September to November, the autumn foliage gradually descends from the mountains to the lowlands. You can enjoy autumn scenery in various places, including Hakuba/Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and highlands to see the autumn leaves. When you return, relax in the sauna and water bath. In the evening, enjoy a quiet time in the countryside while enjoying a BBQ and the starry sky. Since it is a whole house rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, it is recommended not only for family or group trips, but also for couples or small groups staying for consecutive nights. Conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, so you can stay comfortably even for multiple nights. You can get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please contact us in advance. October and November are the seasons to enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. It is also recommended for a leisurely trip where you stay for several nights and enjoy the different autumn scenes of places such as Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Azumino.

In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). This is a private rental accommodation in a renovated 45-year-old wooden house located in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. We are renovating it to make it comfortable for modern people to use, while maintaining the good points of an old house. It features a space where old and new materials coexist and you can feel the natural environment, including the garden. Even large groups can use it comfortably. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom.
