Caribou on Lovund (Helgeland)

Here you can rent a cozy cabin with electricity and running water during the period May to September (with the exception of July). The island of Lovund is a neat 5km² and 625 meters high. There are only buildings on the northeast side of the island, while the rest of the island is a great hiking area. Top hikes on Lovundfjellet and Nøva (lillefjellet), walk to Risneset, Vassvika, Hestvika, Heirsan, Lundeura, Hamnholmvalen (bathing area) and the tour around the island (demanding hike) are recommended. Must be rented for at least 3 nights and you must clean up after yourselves on departure.

There are views of the sea and the Trollfjells in the north, 50 m to the nearest beach, very child-friendly and just as pleasant in the rain as in the sun. Here is car-free, no shops, untouched nature with high mountain peaks, beautiful hiking trails, white beaches, dark caves, and you get waffles and coffee at Grendahuset Bed linen is included in the price, but the tenant must make it nice and clean after himself. The house has a new bathroom with heating cables, shower and washing machine.
