Our cabin is situated in calm and lush surroundings at the end of the road on the island of Dyrøy. The island is sheltered from the open ocean by Senja. The legend tells that the famous Norwegian Viking chief Tore Hund (“Thor the Hound”) had his reindeer on the island and from that time the island is called Dyrøy - the animal island. To stuer og to bad. Hytten er veldig tiltalende, og meget høy standard. Praktfull utsikt, to veranda med havet som nærmeste nabo. 50 meter fra strand. Soverom med dyne, pute og sengklær. Alle bad med håndklær.

The house is located by Hulder- and Trollparken on Senja and was built by the man behind Senjatrollet and the rest of the park as a home for him and his family. Hence the house's peculiarity that many will probably get "hobbit associations" from.
