The guest house is located in Tennes by Balsfjorden south of Tromsø. The place was formerly a vicarage and is now a private home with a large landscaped garden. There are scenic surroundings and the farm is a neighbor to great accessible rock carvings from the Stone Age. There is beautiful hiking terrain in the surrounding area and in nearby mountains and a good starting point for day trips by car to Tromsø, Lyngen and Senja. There is fishing in the fjord from the quay. The house is nicely renovated and furnished with contemporary furniture the last 10 years.

This unique place on the beach is for you who seek tranquility, nature experiences and appreciate Norwegian food traditions and local culture. I run the newly established company Prestvika Strandkafe og Gjestgiveri. Meet me as a local host, taste local food with other guests and feel the tranquility by the sea. The apartment is spacious and has an amazing view. You have a 180 degrees view over Tromsø and its surroundings. You can see mountains, the fjord, the Arctic cathedral, the cable car and the mountains surroundings it..The Northern lights can easily be seen from the balconies if it is out dancing for us. The apartment is within town center with its many attractions, restaurants, galleries, cafes, museums and shops. A short walk to everything.
