The area is a good location to see northern lights and arctic animals. Here, you can fish in the fjord, which is covered in ice for 6 months of the year, go hiking in the nearby mountains, or drive into Tromsø, which takes about 30 minutes. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.
