House holiday rentals in Trou d'Eau Douce

Thanks to Julie for hosting us and for her advice. We had a very good week in this accommodation, with every comfort. Thanks also to the owners Dominique and Michel for their hospitality. The place is perfect for a family stay. Spacious, quiet and close to nature. If we had to note a negative point, it is the fact that the house is far from the center, you must have a car to go shopping or go to the restaurant. It's an address we'll keep if we return to Mauritius. Anaïs,Sylvain and Isaiah

We had a great 3 weeks in the house. Brand new, fully equipped with really everything you need to be comfortable with family and cook. Everything is really well thought out. Communication with Nazia was very smooth, well before the departure where we were able to ask her any questions. Isabelle on site was able to clean several times a week. Loved our stay. Thanks again 1000 thanks for everything!

Some inconveniences at the beginning of the stay quickly erased by the professionalism of the Sealodge concierge. The house is perfect for a family for a long stay. It's extremely cozy. You'll enjoy its lovely Bali stone pool. A car is still recommended to get around the island.

The Place was amazing, it was clean and beautiful just like the pictures. We enjoyed our time there and liked the privacy we had there. Also our host Julie was great, she gave us recommendation for restaurants in the area,also she was very helpful and responsive for our check in and during our stay.

We were welcomed into the home on our arrival with great communication. The property is located in a very secure gated community with guards. The property was spotless and maintained to a high standard. It felt very homely and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and living areas. All the rooms had both AC and a ceiling fan with remote control setting which was very convenient. The location was great for us to get to a few of our adventures which I clouded casella nature park and tamarin falls. Also only 7min drive to flic en flac with numerous restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit mauritius. Also had a lovely view from the terrace!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! Florian, the host, is incredibly helpful and always available – he gives great tips and is always available if you need anything. The apartment is part of a small complex with three residential units and has a communal kitchen, a pool, and a beautiful communal terrace where you can relax wonderfully. It is the perfect starting point to explore the island. However, a car is recommended, as the location is a bit remote!We initially used the public bus, which worked well, but then decided to use a car to be more flexible. A special highlight is the lovely cook, who prepares really delicious food on pre-order and brings it directly to the villa - a great service! In addition, cleaning and laundry are done once a week, which provides additional comfort. Overall, highly recommended 😍

we had a great time at Villa Les Dunes. The house is large (be careful, the master suite is far from the children's rooms, perfect when the children are not very small). and its location is very private. The terrace is very functional and the ocean view is beautiful. The pool is very nice and very well maintained. Rati, who took care of us during the stay is a pearl: preparing breakfasts and a delicious meal per day, absolute luxury!! Great kindness and discretion, we could not have had any better! The beach in front is accessible on foot directly from the house, be careful however it is not ideal for swimming (wind and waves, rocks, seaweed, a little pollution), but perfect for fishing, crabs running and beautiful shells!

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

Kavita, Priscille and Usha were very nice, helped us finding our way to restaurants and other things in the neighbourhood. Very clean and looked after location directly at a small beach. Restaurants at walking distance. Very nice house!

We had a wonderful stay and can only highly recommend this Airbnb! Jessica gave us a warm welcome and even took the time to show us around the house, which made us feel at home right away. The house itself is absolutely beautiful very clean, well organized, and thoughtfully designed. The pool area was a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking during your stay. We especially appreciated the excellent cleaning service during our longer visit – everything was kept spotless and in perfect order. Tip for future guests: Definitely take the advice about renting a car seriously. You’ll absolutely need one to make the most of your stay and explore the area comfortably. Thank you again for a fantastic experience!

We had a wonderful time here. Julien’s communication was perfect, he couldn’t have been more helpful with information about the house and any questions we had whilst we were there. The beach by the house was lovely for walking and watching the sunset then we used the house as a base to visit the beaches further up the coast which were only about 25mins drive. Recommended 👍

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

My family and I had a fantastic two-night stay at Zaheer’s place, and it was worth every penny! Zaheer is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—steps away from an almost private beach, with tons of restaurants nearby and exciting spots like Rochester Falls to explore. The outdoor jacuzzi was a delightful bonus, perfect for unwinding after busy days filled with activities. The house itself is comfortable, ideal for relaxing after hours spent outdoors. With so much to do in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Valerie’s home is beautiful as described and pictures are accurate. Jocelyne, the friendly housekeeper is very dedicated and helpful in keeping the home top notch. The beach in front is not the best for swimming but gives a great view and evening walks are mesmerizing right when u step out of the home. Since this was our first stay in an Airbnb, we were not sure what to expect, but this place sets a big benchmark for our future stays. Loved the stay, great location with all needs met nearby. Local restaurants on the beach and road are great. Best place to stay if in Mauritius. Cheers.

Even before arriving in Mauritius, Caroline was very available. We immediately felt his kindness, his gentleness to our children and his hospitality. A pleasure to have had the opportunity to discover his accommodation as well as his cooking skills since we were able to taste a local dish made by him. Everything is planned for a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place. A BIG thank you again!! We do not plan to return to Mauritius in the months/years that arrive however we keep the address precious, we never know!!

The small cottage of Jf and Kareen more than convinced us with its very own charm, a great layout and its optimal location. It was clean, tidy and lovingly furnished. The hosts didn't promise too much, were themselves very friendly, courteous and always available for questions. Would recommend this place with a clear conscience at any time 😊

The place is clean and well located. It does not have a TV so that was the one drawback for the evenings.

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice. He booked all our excursions, including the restaurant, taxi, and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly matches the description. I highly recommend it.

Ramesh and Do were perfect hosts. Exceptionally kind! The accommodation is very very clean, they have the desire to do a service so that we can have the best vacation possible. We thank them so much because they contributed to the success of our stay on the island. We hope to be able to come back to their place soon.

Wow, our stay at Albion was nothing short of amazing! We truly felt at home. Alex and Marie-France were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. Highly recommend their place—and them as hosts!

The villa was absolutely stunning - the design and decor of the villa was so tastefully done and resembled something you’d find in a boutique hotel. We’ve stayed in plenty of air b n b’s, but this one has to be our favourite. Great place to socialise indoors and outdoors. We had a rental car with us which was handy, because the shops/restaurants are a short car journey away. We ate at green island beach restaurant and la case poisson, which were both great and enjoyed visiting belle mare and palmer beach which is about 15 min drive from the villa! Loved staying here and hopefully we’ll stay again in the future.

The stay at Stephanie's apartment was wonderful! The apartment is at least as beautiful as in the photos, if not even more beautiful. Especially great is the outdoor area with a kitchen and pool. The large shower is also great. In the kitchen there is everything you need, including a small basic equipment, e.g. vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, etc. Everything was sparkling clean. Stephanie and her husband are super nice. She always responded quickly and kindly to messages and even prepared a nice fruit plate for us to welcome us. The check-in was flexible and hassle-free. We felt very comfortable and would fully recommend the apartment at any time.
