U Vodníka na Palčovce - romance for adventurers

Chaloupka U Vodníka is a romantic getaway for two, located right by a pond with trout and, in summer, sheep, within easy reach of the Kvačianska Dolina valley and serving as an ideal base for hikes in the Roháče Mountains. Inside, you'll find a 140×200 cm bed, a shelf for your belongings and clothes, a drawer, and a stove where you can heat the cabin yourself (in winter, you'll need to clear away the snow). Nearby, there is an outdoor terrace with a summer kitchen, a toilet, and a shower (during cold spells, the shower is located in the Palčovky cellar). There is no kitchen in the winter. Great for adventurers who want the scent of wood, starry skies, and the silence of the mountains.

You can spend your free time walking through the beautiful Kvačianska and Prosiecka valleys, Roháče or climbing Sivý vrch.

This village offers beautiful scenery of the Western Tatras. In the surrounding area you can enjoy walks in the Kvačianska and Prosiecka valleys, hiking in Roháče and relax in the nearby aquaparks Tatralandia, Bešeňová, Oravice, or on the Polish side in Chocholowskie Termy, which we recommend combining with a trip to the picturesque Polish Zakopane.

Two apartments, a modern bathroom, and a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The house is 150+years old - it is cozy, freshly reconstructed, and well-maintained & equipped. No TV, fast internet.

The original experience accommodation is offered by Podbieľanská Archa located in the village of Podbiel, in the district of Tvrdošína. We are located in a beautiful setting by the Orava River under the rock taken by the Red Rock. You won't be bored during your vacation! There's plenty of hiking in the area, but you can also plan a lot of bike trips. However, the strongest holiday experience will undoubtedly be staying in our house with comfortable interior amenities.

We offer one separated studio. The first one has two bedrooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom. It also includes terrace. There is wifi and all you need for cooking your own meals . If you bring with you any kind of special sport equipment you can keep it in the same building where you stay. No pets allowed. There is also a dayroom where you can spend time together, watch tv, table games or celebrate.
