Holiday rentals with lake access in Udaipur

Overall the stay was awesome for me and my kids! The property looks exactly like the picture, a well maintained spacious 2 bhk villa with garden. The best part was the behavior of the owner who was very helpful and responsive although he lives away from the property. The property is located near a famous sports complex, SBS sports arena, which can be used as a landmark to reach there. While staying at this property, you can enjoy stargazing, go for a morning walk, enjoy sunrise at nearby lake. All this away from the hustle of the city, noise, population and pollution as the property is located at the start of a small village. Visiting with a private vehicle is recommended in case you need to step out often. Please do not expect hotel like vibe as it's a home away from home and one has to travel about 2km for necessary amenities. I travelled in my car so used to have dinner outside or have a takeaway dinner and there is option of delivery by food apps also.

The place is in a very premium location. Places like saheli ki badi and fateh sagar lake a walk away. The place is very safe and peaceful. There is a person always available for your needs and a cleaner who is there during day time. The host was available to check and ensured we get good breakfast. Overall a good place

best place to stay in udaipur.

we stayed at khudala house over new year and it was perfect. close enough to the main part of town to be walkable to the main attractions and lakesides (20 mins) and easy to get an auto rickshaw (5 mins). the three rooms are very large and comfortable, each with ensuite and plenty of hot water. breakfast is served at your preference in a separate dining area (inside or outside) that is private to us, along with an outdoor sitting area and garden - we didn't use because it was quite cool in the evening. dhananjai was lovely, instantly responded to any requests and was generous with advice of where to go, and is generally a cool guy and traveller. didn't get to use the restaurant also owned by the family but it looked wonderful. would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

Ranveer and his family were wonderful hosts. We were a group of 6 and all had private rooms with ensuite’s. it was right in the heart of the most beautiful part of Udaipur and walking distance to everything. Highly recommend to fellow travellers

Vijaya's Red Suite is a piece of peace away from the bustle of Udaipur's busy streets. Though very close to Chetak Circle and the Old City, Vijaya's suites sit on a quiet road with garden access replete with the sounds of birds in the evenings and mornings. The women who help her run the place, particularly Raj, are delightful and wonderful hosts in their own right. I was traveling with family, including young children, and when we unfortunately fell ill, we were well-looked after. I lived in Udaipur almost twenty-five years ago and appreciated feeling so at home in the city once again - an experience that Vijaya's place afforded. I highly recommend her accommodations - make sure to enjoy the terraces.

We loved our stay and are definitely coming back! The location and views are outstanding. It was a wonderful experience to sit by the lake and enjoy the sunset. It is quite peaceful so we were lucky to be surrounded by beautiful birds as well. The property area is well thought of in terms of the pool area, green spaces and gazebos. The pool (+pool side) experience was quite pleasant and all the necessary amenities were in place. The cottage felt like our own little home and we had a very comfortable stay. Given the size and furnishings, it is great for a long stay too. The variety of meals was a very welcome addition, we enjoyed all our meals. A heartfelt thank you to Deepak for arranging the meals wherever we wanted (the porch, the poolside etc.) and for his overall attention to detail during our stay. He even arranged a private bonfire for us! And it was lovely to meet Pradeep, the owner of the property and learn more about it. Can’t thank him enough for his warm hospitality!

It was a wondeful stay , the location, the cottage, the garden the pool the lake the mountains, its mind blowing. Never forget to mention the care taker Mr. deepak he was 24x7 available and make our stay more comfortable, thank you so much. The place is far atleast 30 min ride from city centre but considering the location its worth trying. Food delivery is not available but the Mr Deepak assure us to cook food for us of our choice both veg and non veg.
