"the Sharpe's Place". Open view,close to the city

THE SHARPE'S PLACE is a very comfortable house, with all the western people needs as well as Indonesians. Our house really has good air circulation with a lot of windows. Has open view at the front because of the location is at the river banks. Only 5 minutes driving to the centre city. It is a comfortable place to stay for vacation. We have 1 cat, she is nice. Noise might come from the road at the front. Nothing we can do about it. Its close to the city centre. You will love this place anyway.

I had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb in Padang. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive from the moment I booked. The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The traditional Minangkabau-style design gave it a unique charm, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the tropical heat. The location was perfect — close to local eateries, the beach, and some of Padang’s top attractions like Pantai Padang and the Adityawarman Museum. I especially appreciated the local tips the host provided, which helped me discover authentic food spots and hidden gems.

Ibuk Yenni at Pone Home made our trip unforgettable. Warm hospitality, delicious breakfasts, comfy, clean place, and fun karaoke sessions. She even lent us a motorcycle and personally ride me to must-see spots like Panorama, Lubang Japang, and Puncak Taruko. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Pone Home to fellow travelers seeking a blend of warm hospitality and strategic convenience.

This is a really lovely house in a small pleasant village. The grounds are lovingly maintained and Yasir, who lives next door to manage the house, was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house is spacious and comfortable. Be sure to check out the nearby village of Pariangan, it's one of the most beautiful and historic in Sumatra. If you speak Indonesian, Yasir can tell you a really beautiful backroad way to get there. Great stay.

Ariza was very helpful with the early check-in request from my side, he was already on stand-by from 7am! He is a friendly and responsive host that will help you all the time. I got the room downstairs with a private bathroom. There’s a water gallon for drinking in front of the bedroom. The airbnb itself is in a quiet neighbourhood, which I like, and there’s cafe next to the airbnb that opens until late, if you fancy some bites like burger. In the weekdays morning there will also another place to eat open there so you can have breakfast or lunch. All in all, it’s worth staying in Ariza’s airbnb. Affordable and nice👌🏻
