Casale Monticchio - The Pigsties, up to 3 people

We created this 90sqm apartment from the old pigsties. Why they gave the pigs three beautiful south facing arched windows we still don’t know! The open-plan layout was designed to take into consideration wheel chair access as this is the only apartment on one level. The feeling is quite contemporary with one stone wall and the others being painted white. It is the most secluded of our apartments as it faces south onto the open fields toward Mercatello, where there is a nice bar run by Paola.

The accommodation is part of a small villa but is independent and consists of a single bedroom with the addition of a second bed (THERE IS NO DOUBLE VERSION, the space is more suitable for single travelers or groups of friends who do not need a particular level of privacy) from a bathroom with toilet and shower. THERE IS NO KITCHENETTE. It has private parking. It is equipped with heating, linen, a coffee machine, a kettle, and a hairdryer. Accommodation tax is payable on site.

The house is in the heart of the Castle, the old town of Arrone, which is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, near the Church of San Giovanni del XIV^ and a few meters from the Civic Tower A large terrace, adorned with flowers overlooks the valley of the Nera River Park, with a relaxing and evocative landscape. The room "Cuore del Castello" is a portion of a body of adjoining buildings that constituted the first medieval settlement dating back to 1000.

Just in front of the house a large free parking is avalaible, a toll parking is only 5 minutes away. We speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.
