The listed property has a bedroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and a bathroom. We also have an induction plate, utensils, tea/ coffee - maker, fridge, and bread toaster. Feel free to cook your own meals using the little knick knacks in the house! We are a retired couple, excited to host and help travellers plan their north -east trip!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Darimi, and I cannot stress how much we enjoyed our stay. My son loved it the most, and my mother has already expressed her desire to make it a yearly ritual to visit Darimi. The house itself is simply gorgeous—spacious, clean, and airy, with an abundance of natural light. The modern amenities provided all the comforts we could ask for. Additionally, Cliffton is truly a super host. He has been the most wonderful, kind, and sweetest host I have ever come across. His attention to detail and care for his guests made our experience unforgettable. Special thanks to the staff, Sagar, Iban, and Dodo, for making our stay memorable, and to sweet Julie for preparing homely, wholesome meals for us. I also learned to prepare a local delicacy, 'jadoh,' from her. We can't wait for our next visit!😊

We had a wonderful 3 days stay at Tapash’s homestay, Six Mile,Guwahati. The host Tapash was extremely polite, helpful, and professional, making our experience truly pleasant. The room was very clean, beautifully designed, and everything was perfectly planned. It felt cozy and comfortable, just like home. Tapash’s warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay amazing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Guwahati and looking for a peaceful, well-maintained homestay. And also it’s a nice space for couples, friends or even for families who are looking for a peaceful place. Very responsive, friendly and understanding host I have ever met! The interiors are massive and super spacious. The photos don't do enough justice to show just how big the whole place really is! Plenty of light sources ensured there was never a dim corner, and the many windows filled the rooms with ambient sunlight. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials (and more), which allowed for a superb cooking experience that was right on par with home. The neighbourhood is calm and quiet, and though the property is close to the train station, I didn't hear any train horns that were loud and annoying. You really have to listen intently to even notice. Groceries and vegetable stands within 100m of the property were the icing on the cake. Would recommend it to any traveller.
