We enjoyed staying in Tita Cha's place. She is very attentive and helpful with all our needs. She also helped us with transpo around the area. I highly recommend her place as this is nearby the beach. Also we enjoyed spending time with her as we shared a lot of stories together at home. Thank you so much for sharing local food and wisdom. The property has a peaceful charm with a relaxing atmosphere, a private pool, karaoke, and beautiful surroundings—ideal if you’re looking to completely unplug and stay put. However, our experience was mixed due to several factors that future guests should be aware of. The biggest challenge was the location. The house is remote and not listed in the city’s tourism directory, making it hard for local transport providers to locate. Accessibility is heavily impacted by the tides—depending on the time of day, getting in and out requires a flat boat (at an extra fee), which felt like a charge that should have been included in the price. While island hopping was available, it came at an additional cost, and leaving the property for any activities required extra planning and expense. If you’re not planning to explore and are content staying at the property, this might not be an issue—but it’s something to keep in mind.

Really enjoyed my stay! The host was super kind and accommodating, always making sure I have everything needed. The room was very clean, comfortable, and just like the photos. It was a great experience overall I’d definitely recommend this Airbnb to others!

Staying at Charito's during my time in Guimaras was fantastic. I felt like the location was great as it's near a lot of the beaches and some restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay at Makarios! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was so peaceful and calming – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always friendly and helpful. Our room was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities we could need. We needed a break, and Makarios delivered exactly what we were looking for: pure relaxation. A highlight was the fantastic feeding and fishing experience – the chef even cooked our catch! It was so yummy and fresh. The calming ambiance, delicious food, and friendly service created the perfect escape. Highly recommended!

So happy to have found this pet friendly place at short notice. The host is very responsive and accommodated my early check in request for which I’m grateful. The place is beautiful and serene. Far from the madding crowd. The room was very clean, had a nice modern bathroom with really good shower pressure, great pillow top mattress which I always appreciate for a comfy sleep. I love the view from the room: sea to sky, very picturesque. The restaurant on site served good food and service is great. Good internet connectivity at the restaurant and rooms. We hope to stay here again!
