1 week agoThis stay was beautiful. My girlfriend and I stayed at the cabin for our anniversary. It was amazing. When we arrived at the cabin, Jill had left us a cake to enjoy as part of our anniversary celebration. It felt very welcoming. Jill is a great host who is very responsive and gave us some great local recommendations. The cabin itself was so cosy, clean and spacious, perfect for the both of us. It was located in a beautiful area with great local hikes and food spots, which we made sure to take advantage of. I would rate the stay a 10/10 and we will definitely be booking this again next summer. Thank you Jill

2 weeks agoThis is the perfect place to escape busy city life and reconnect with nature. We loved waking up to the birds tweeting and beautiful views through the trees which got better and better towards the end of the day as the sun set.
The cabin has been thoughtfully designed to blend with its surroundings with simplicity and rustic-ness at its core. You have everything you could need here and Jill was incredibly helpful in the run up and during our stay to make sure we had a great time.
We look forward to returning!

2 weeks ago'Up' is in a peaceful spot, near the River Wye and many of its attractions. There are lots of walks that can be done from the property and the host has left lots of recommendations in the welcome folder. Potential guests should realise that the property is not hugely accessible for those who would find steep slopes and steps difficult, & if you don't relish driving up a steep drive, then do park at the roadside lay-by and walk up. If visiting during autumn or winter take a working torch - as we couldn't find any outside lighting ... perhaps this was us being 'slow', but we didn't find any instructions. The outside steps do need illuminating when used at night. If you are small in stature, you might find the main bedroom curtains difficult to unhook/let down, but you might well love the 'quirky' feel of the property, the log burner, the decking and the fire pit. The advertised 'valley view' was a little disappointing - maybe it's better when leaves fall off the trees!

3 weeks agoWe had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect getaway and Jill has really thought of everything to make this a magical place. Peaceful, tranquil, and cosy. There is an abundance of beautiful walks on the doorstep, the log burner for cosy evenings was a dream, the outdoor bath was a real novelty and we had lots of fun with the piano! I surprised my partner for his birthday and he couldn't have been happier! The cake left by Jill was also a lovely touch. The house was a little dusty in areas, and we would have been a little more comfortable if it had been a touch cleaner in some areas - but overall it didn't take away from what was otherwise a wonderful and memorable stay. Thanks Jill!
